Ok, this probably isn't the appropriate answer to this request, because who I have to say is not really a 'super' hero...but...she is a hero to me. I'm talking about Helen Keller. I know you all have heard of her, read about her or seen the movies about her. She was blind, deaf and mute. And although it was exremely tough, and thought actually impossible, she went on to go through school, and even college excelling past all obstacles that should have kept her from doing anything. I know that I personally don't think any of us today, truthfully, could progress the way she did with her disablilities....Alot of us can't even progress without disablities. She accomplished with no hearing, no sight and no speech, what alot of us can't or haven't tried to accomplish with the blessing of our hearing, our sight and our speech. I know that whenever I feel defeated, or like I just 'can't' do something, I think of her, and everything she did. She is remarkable to me! She helps me to think of what 'is' possible, instead of what isn't! If you haven't read up on her, or seen the movies about her, I encourage you to. It's a wonderful story of a true hero, to all of us who say "I can't". She shows us that "We Can!" God bless!
