Who says only children are bullying?
47The Gurgaon school shoot out has focussed on bullying by children in schools. I have seen children bullying in many movies and serials on Disney channel. In most of the cases bullying child was reformed. But in this case, bullying resulted in death of one and life spoiled for other two. Three families have suffered. I feel sorry for them. Perhaps this could have been prevented. Who are to blame and what lessons we will learn?
Yesterday I read a news report. Delhi Mayor has said that Delhi CM is doing 'arm twisting and bullying'. She is blocking funds for MCD and diverting them to other departmens in her Govt. Only 50% funds are reaching MCD. Then she is writing threatening letters to Mayor. I am also being bullied by Delhi CM. Every morning I am bullied and forced to look at her photo whenever I open the newspaper. Every news about Delhi Govt and every ad issued by Delhi Govt carries her photo. It hurts me more as theses ads are given out of my hard earned money which I gave to her Govt as taxes.
So, it is not only children in schools but also grown up people who are bullying. For last few years we are seeing arm twisting and bullying of UPA Govt by CPM. Then historic bullying of AIIMS Head by Minister Ramadoss in which entire Parliament and President joined Ramadoss in bullying AIIMS head out of AIIMS. Then bullying by Gujjars and counter-bullying by Meenas. Bullying and counter-bullying in Nandigram resulted in huge death and destruction. Bullying by Muslim terrorists, maoists and naxalites resulting in death and destruction. Bullying of Taslima Nasreen by Muslim fundamntalists. Bullying of citizens by police, beaurocracy, Govt, media, judiciary. Bullying of citizens by VIP and VVIP outing. Start thinking and you will keep on adding to the list.
Like exploitation, bribery, hypocrisy, bullying has also become our national passtime.

Hi Suresh,
I think you speak for almost every country in the world. It is a global pasttime.
Some are subtle, some a direct. Some on behalf of corporations, some by governments. It saddens me too. Nowadays it seems that it is somehow "us" that serve the government, yet they are our employees, and should be serving us.
Great Hub.
Thoog.
