Who Am I...

Who am I more like? My Mother or Father?
Which or your parents are you most like? Your Mother or your Father? This is a hard question for me to answer. Not only am I like both of my parents but my parents are a lot like each other.
I am like my Mother. We have the same quirky sense of humor, we laugh at the same things, and we can laugh for hours. We both enjoy reality TV shows; Big Brother, So You Think You Can Dance, Survivor.. Etc. We both like gossip magazines and bubble baths, at the same time! We stick up for yourselves but we don’t like confrontations. We would rather get a professional to do something than do it ourselves unlike my dad, who is a hands on man. Plus I am like her twin except younger! We both have brunette hair and it is straight hair. Sometimes when I look at old pictures of her when she was a child, I think they are of me. It is weird. We have the exact same face; smile, nose, the same shape eyes but different colors. I have green and she has brown. We even have the same body type.
I am like my Father. We are both super sarcastic and funny. We are both outgoing and enjoy laughing at other people. We mostly have the same opinion on all sorts of topics. My dad and I aren’t afraid of a days labor. My dad is the one who gets out into the yard when it is time for yard work and I am always the first to volunteer. I noticed recently that I am cooking more of my dad’s recipes for dinner than my mom’s recipes. We both love Dr. Pepper and Peanut M&M’s plus we both love love love spicy food. My Mom likes hot food also but my dad and I like it burning. I always related to him more when I was younger because we both have one older sister that we don’t get along with too well. When I was upset or fighting with my sister, my dad would always know what it was like to have an older sister. My mom was an only child, so she didn’t understand why we fought so much. All she wanted when she was younger was a brother or sister. So it was nice that my dad knew and actually understood.
I am like both of my parents. We all enjoy movies and we listen to pretty much the same music. They share c.d.s and I like all of their c.d.s but I listen to much more music than they do so I like more than them. We all write on multiple sites but about our own interests.
This is a hard choice but if I have to choose I would say I am more like my Dad. We have a lot in common and can talk a lot but not for long because we just keep agreeing on everything. I can talk longer with my mom because we don’t agree as much so we each get to say our opinions and then try to convince each other that we are wrong. Ha-ha. I have a different relationship with each of my parents but I love them equally.

I think that's great you share similarity on both sides, and you guys are all lucky to have each other!
With me I'm a complete even split between the both of my parents. Depending on who's standing next to me.
Haha. Yeah I agree Stylezink. It was very hard to pick who I was more like. Your family is very lucky to have you style! Thank you for commenting.

Your dad seems like a really great guy, but then you seem like a great child for him to have also. This was a great hub and not one that I could write myself it would be too difficult. Keep up with the great hubs.
