Understanding Wholeness

One way to understand the concept of wholeness is simply to consider what are the basics of living a healthy life and is there a balance in my life of those basics.

For instance: Do I have a spiritual life that I consciously consider and seek? Do I use my mental abilities usefully and purposefully? Do I have a healthy emotional life? Do I care for my physical body properly? Do I consider my home environment as an extension of my being for my comfortability? Do I interact with the world of nature- get fresh air, enjoy plants, care about the environment, etc...

Each of these components can vary from individual to individual, as you go into more specific detail. Basically wholeness consists of considering your spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical aspects of being, plus the environment in which you interact; be it your home, or the natural world around you.

Having a balance of the aspects of wholeness is the goal. Exactly what having a balance means can also vary from individual to individual. As we change, our needs do as well.

For next time, the focus will be on our individual inner guidance, and how that intuition is developed through attaining and maintaining wholeness and how wholeness develops intuition.
