Why are we Angry?
This year has been trying on most Americans and some are just plain angry! We have over the years become a very accepting nation, and racism is not the issue of years ago.
Then came the election of Obama, and overnight, the unity we enjoyed became strained. Our friends no longer accepted our view point, we became racist if we did not agree with the new presidents or his agenda. It made the average person a criminal to point out our differences, and so the sleeping monster has been awakened, the anger slowly grows within us, and the years of acceptance and understanding begins to widen again.
But what else about this presidency that makes some of us so angry?
We were in two wars, the economy was beginning to slip, and the undertone of the failing Bush administration gave hope to a fresh start. Obama’s eloquent speeches assured us we would get that. For a minute it seemed like the answer so many were looking forward to, coupled with the historical event of having the first ‘black’ president. But those of us who were not swayed by the stardom of Obama began to ask ourselves why Acorn was so involved with this election, and if they were so concerned about the many uncounted voters, where were they in prior election?
Spend, Spend Spend!!!!! Lie, Lie, Lie!!!!
It’s been 10 months, and just as Roosevelt did to Hoover, Obama is still blaming everything on the previous administration. I say grow some, and begin to take responsibility for YOUR actions. Tell us where we are getting the Gadzillions you want to spend, and how we are really going to pay for it!
We tried to look past his prior associations, like Ayers, Wright etc, and gave him a pass, yet, now as president, the associations of unsavory people surrounding him continue. His adored friends begin with Frank and Pelosi and continue with the many czars. The question of the czars, even though many presidents had them, are a concern because in this administration, they are all radical. This is one of the many things that began to anger us.
Obama himself said before making any decisions he confronts Andy Stern of SEIU, this man has a seat at every domestic policy initiative. Former SEIU chief lobbyist and Soros-funded operative Patrick Gaspard is White House Director of Political Affairs. SEIU Secretary-Treasurer Anna Burger serves on the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board. Ron Bloom from SEIU is the new “manufacturing czar.” Why are we engaging union members in national decisions?
The Mao Tse Tung butt kisser, Anita Dunn, the new ‘communication director’ consequently married to Obama’s lawyer Robert Bauer, is making Americans angry by toying with the first Amendment against radio and TV personnel.
The Banks were bailed out, yet they are now tightening their lending for small business owners. The Stimulus Bill that was such a ‘crisis‘ failed to create any jobs that were promised, instead we lost 3.6 Million jobs. It failed to reduce unemployment, instead it has increased it into double digits in certain states. Should we contain our anger as so many have lost their jobs and homes? Should we stop paying taxes like all those in your administration?
While Americans are fed lies that the Health Plan is for and about the people, we are angered by the fact that No One wants to read the bills. Where is the transparency, let us read them!
We are concerned that Dr. John Holdren, “science czar” believes in population control, and wants to force abortion on woman and control the population by putting infertility drugs into our drinking water and food. He wants control of the global economy and dictate the most intimate details of our lives using an armed international police force if necessary. Will this be included in that new plan?
The new ‘Climate Bill’ formerly Cap & Trade, is another one of the ‘crisis’ soon to be on our plate. Is it Global warming or money for special interest? What are we to think when Billionaire Soros, will invest $1 billion in clean-energy technology and create a policy advisory board, and will establish the Climate Policy Initiative, in which he will donate $10 million a year for 10 years. “The system can be gamed; that’s why financial types like me like it -- because there are financial opportunities,” Soros said at a London School of Economics seminar. Who is really going to gain when everything we consume will have additional taxes?
Obama often talks of redistribution of wealth, should it bother us that Communism was also a political movement that focused on equalization through the distribution of wealth equally to all persons, or by withholding wealth from all persons in a society? It put factories and railroads, and banks under government control, collected and rationed food, and introduced some temporary management of industry. This is the history, which seems all too familiar in the current administration, that angers us.
While our troops continue to die, Obama is shown playing basketball while he waivers on Afghanistan. Is it that he knows that Congress does nto want to fund them? On Oct. 1, 2009, 22 Congressmen sent a bill to the Armed Service Committee stating:
No funds appropriated or otherwise made available under any provision of law may be obligated or expended to increase the number of members of the United States Armed Forces serving in Afghanistan so that the number of members serving in Afghanistan exceeds the number so serving on the date of the enactment of this Act
The older American, who’s sweat made this a great country were recently told that Social Security recipients will not get an increase in their benefit checks for the first time in three decades, but will instead get a $250 stimulus check. It makes no sense to them, and it makes no sense to the rest of us either!
Some of us are angered with members of Congress and Senate, the people who were hired by us are now turning their backs on us to follow in the footsteps of a narcissistic leader. America is rightfully angry with Obama, and even those who would faithfully follow him are beginning to raise questions. There are many other things that anger us, I’ll let you digest these before addressing the other issues.

Great Hub! What really angers me is the fact that Obama told everyone exactly what he was going to do and they still voted him in and now his supporters are really angry and say he lied! He is being the socialist president that he campaigned to be! What of his birth certificate? Where is it? He loves controversy it keeps attention off of what he is doing under the american people's nose! This presidency is about race because he uses it because He can! He knows that he will not be overthrown or impeached because if he is people will be accused of just being racist. So he can do whatever he chooses because people are more concerned about not being labelled racist than saving our country!

The election of Barack Obama is a perfect example of how stupid and lazy we've become. We fell for a slick-talking lawyer, who's never done a hard days work in his life, and who's also never ran or managed anything. And now that everything America stands for is under attack by this socialists radical and his cronies on the Hill, everybody's starting to wake up.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again--marched out, voted out, or carried out--Obama's got to go; by whatever means necessary.

Well the American people had a choice between McCain (and Palin) and Obama.
At the time, Obama seemed to me to be the lesser of two evils.
And if I had the chance to do it all over again, I'd still vote for Obama to keep Palin from being one heart beat away from the Oval Office.
What's sad is that you have to vote for the lesser of two evils, and not for a person who you think is the best.

Jesus! Palin wasn't the brightest bulb in the house, but at least she wasn't a socialists for God sakes. And at least she freakin ran something besides her mouth--her own business, mayor of a town, governor. What the hell has Obama ever ran? And her and her husband, Tod, started out with nothing, nothing! They actually know what it's like to sit down at the kitchen table and worry about paying the bills.
Anyone who would still vote for Obama, after all he's doing to this country, is just too stupid to be walking the streets by themselves.
Great Hub and my sentiments exactly. I have to say that I have many liberal friends that during the Obama campaign and first few months after the election, we couldn't talk. They did not have the ear to listen as they did before. Fortunately, they are of good character and they are starting to open their eyes. One in particular apologized to me for being so naive and stupid. He is in a state of shock as he never expected what he has seen. You are right, we had come such a long way and I feel we are loosing ground again with the race thing.

Excellent analysis of why the nation is so angry. There is such an overwhelming amount of evidence that this administration is dragging us down a road this country has never travelled before. Personally, I never looked past Obama's associations with Ayers and Wright. Now look what we have., A president who deliberately surrounded himself with like minded people. We have avowed communists, lovers of Mao Tse Tung, and admirers of Castro and Chavez all surrounding the President and offering him advice. What more evidence do people need to come to the conclusion that we are in a great deal of trouble.
You put it right out there. The people of the United Stated have alredy rejected marxism. I remember the phrase "Better dead than Red." That is the exact reason for the anger of seeing so many associates who are obviously of the communist bent. The USA expended trillions of dollars to defend ourselves against this totalatarian travesty. We are not just going to bow down to it now.
This is a coup. If you connect the dots= George Soros + Saul Alinsky + Rev Wright+ Communist mother + Communist grandparents + Communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis+radical stance on abortion + legislative non-accomplishments + voting against Born Alive Infant Protection Act + being born British. The American people were totally hoodwinked on this one. He is quite an expert in the use of hypnosis and seduction.
However, I, for one, am, not willing to wait for the next election cycle. we may not have that luxury. He needs to be exposed for what he is, a "Usurper" without any right to be in that office. Leo Donofrio, Esq. is taking some important steps in having him removed. It's important for the American Public that there is a way of removing him from office, other than impeachment. It's called "quo warranto", and was specifically designed by the Congress to remove federal officials who have entered office without fulfilling the Constitutional requirements. It's been used before.

Also, I am also sick of the mainstream media treating Obama like he's Elvis! Now, the administration is trying to shut down FOX NEWS. No one minded when Bush was bashed around for 8 years on the news and every late night show. He withstood the barrage with grace but Obama is trying every dirty trick to get what he wants.

Great Hub jib. Lets just hope that all this anger translates into votes next November. What I worry is that all of this anger will turn to mass civil unrest. I'm serious. I don't think a lot of people understand just how bad it could get in that respect. If that happens, you will see drastic changes in America. Its a win win for the leftist that have hijacked the Democratic party. They can nudge their way to socialism. If it causes civil war, they have their "emergency". I'm starting to really worry.

Dynamics, I am not smart enough or willing enough to be president, however, If I were president, the first thing I would have done is to impose either the Fair Tax or Flat Tax, which would have fixed part of the problem. The second thing I would have done is spent at least 1 year with top advisors, and business men in all fields to come up with correcting other issues. There was no crisis that could not have waited another few months. Thank you for your question.

As of the writing of this comment, Nancy Pelosi is giving the American people 72 hours notice that a vote is going to be held next week on the House's 2,000 page health reform bill. How many lawmakers are going to read this bill in its entirety? Zero? Two? Five? How many trillions of dollars of taxpayer money will be required in order for Americans to receive inferior health care compared to what we now receive? What about Obama and his three dozen czars? Should Kenneth Feinberg, the "Pay Czar" scrutinize Obama's pay and ask him to return it to the taxpayers as he has done to other CEO's? Shouldn't Feinberg and his fellow three dozen czars be forced to testify in front of Congress? Are they above the law? Things and events are reaching the boiling point!
Yes PeeDee, I and the speed reader have tried to read that wonderful new bill, you have to have both the original and this revised version side by side to make heads or tails of it. Seems that Illegals will be included on page 229, where it says 'anyone currently residing', public option is in, and abortion, now renamed medical surgery or something like that is in. Why would your administration invite Malik Shabazz to the White House but not want to do a press conference when Fox News is present? Something just doesn't add up. I thought he wanted unity and transparency?
I just read that Obama will be doing an interview with Major Garrett from fox. This is a first.
I bet he won't go on Hannity or O'Reilly. He's making a safe move by doing an interview with Major Garrett. Major won't ask tough hard hitting questions but, yet Obama can say that in fact he did do an interview with Fox News.
If he really wants to make an impact he should at least try going on Huckabee.
I want to correct what I said Major may ask some tough questions but, I think it would have made a bigger impact if he had went on Huckabee, O'Reilly, or Hannity.
Major Garrett may be given questions to ask, since Obama won't have his teleprompter.

"Led by Service Unions International Union president Andy Stern — plan to gather outside of Goldman Sachs’ Washington offices Monday morning to protest the firm’s mega-bonuses, and demand the end of the "too big to fail" doctrine, according to a press release. This while Acorn is suing the federal government over the issue to stop their funding.
The writing was on the wall with this guy during his campaign. Part of the problem was that McCain was no real choice - but then again, big-money interests set it up that way. The change Obama promised is what we see now - not what he knew everyone assumed he was saying - and that, I would say, is Obama in a nutshell Good hub jib :)

He can't make a decision on Afghanistan, but Obama sent greetings Wednesday on behalf of the United States to pilgrims performing the annual hajj in Saudi Arabia, and to Muslims worldwide celebrating the Eid-ul-Adha holiday. Just great.
