I feel it is because of high gas prices George Bush all the damage that has been done to us by other countries America is good we all fight for what is right but I believe putting Mcain in office is another George Bush we have no business in Iraq we have enough probllems here in our Country as tanted tomatoes now cows food going up sky high we do need a president who will change things and I don't think it will be either of them.I fill like a country is turing communist they tape phone lines not allowed to smoke anywhere but in our home or car and where ever allowed non smokers always had a place like in a resturant no smoking on one side and smokers in another.

I know I shouldn't comment, but I will anyway. To blame the rest of the world, or even things within America for our tarnished world image is a part of the reason we have a tarnished image to begin with. I am American, I'm proud to be an American, there are few places in the world that I'd rather be because I like my American style of life, but I'm also realistic and I like to think I can look past all the patriotic BS and see things as they are. We have a bad image because we like to place blame for things that go wrong, rather than take responsibility for what we've done. We like to blindly label others as "evil" rather than examining the issue to see if the "evil" ones are reacting to actions that we've taken. We like to ignore world opinion and act in our own interests when world opinion doesn't agree with our opinion. We get away with all of this, and more, because we are the biggest kid on the block, and that does piss people off.
Are we wrong to be the way we are? I don't know, and I'm not going to get in to that discussion. We are what we are, and to the outside world that's not always seen as a good thing.
Very good comment yes we are what we are but we arn;t tainting our own tomatoes or causing other people harm and we have no business out of our country we have our own problems as our other states that need help one person is not going to change or is two we need hundreds to help Thanks Sherylc

if I was american, I'd vote for either hillary clinton and obama. heck, if they ran for president in our country, i'd vote for them... :D
America's not that bad... and soaring gas prices is not just your problem... it's also our problem too... :)
