Why Anarchy Could Work
66First, lets get over the theory that anarchy mean chaos. Anarchy simply refers to the notion that no-government is the best form of governance.Chaos comes when people run around with rules or consequences. Anarchy for me, simply refers to a more primitive ideology, self-governance.
For millions of years our ancestors have survived and evolved without an established political system. The only system that was ever taken seriously was that of the family unit and later on evolved the idolation of some form of higher power. Later on leaders used the higher power 'card' to manipulate people into worshiping them. They essentially became the gods on earth, and thus were indisputable. And this is where life became complicated. Now we have created this vast complex governing system that really does more harm than good.
Anarchy could mean something very different for any two people. You'll never get the same response from any die hard anarchist. But so what, you'll never get the same the same answer about god from any two like minded believers either (unless it's some scripted verse they've been made to rehearse).
Points To Consider
- We are the only species in the animal kingdom who believe we need to be governed by a higher power.
- We have been indoctrinated by religion to believe that we are inherently evil without authority.
- We are lead to believe that we need to be taught right from wrong.
- Laws rarely stops anyone from committing crimes. They only prevent perpetrators from later confessing.
- At the end of the day it's what other people think of you that counts.

Authority creates chaos - what we need is order without authority, and the world would be a better place. We are able to take matters in our own hands. See my hub "Politicians". Take care!
Anarchy doesn't make sense at all, without an established order, everything we have would be destroyed. Once the system resets itself, say after a successful coup, some will want to climb back to power and the system restarts itself all over again. Our heirarchial system is human nature. Without it, Earth would become a kill or be killed hell that noone would want to take part in. Land, resources, etc. would all be fought over by the "haves" and "have-nots" on an even larger scale than it's being fought on now. You assume that everyone would abide by the agreed upon laws set forth by the people (Who would enforce these agreed upon laws?) after anarchy had been established. This will never happen, in the end it would be the ones who banded together (and had the biggest guns) to create order that would prevail, and in the end some semblance of government would re-establish itself. Anarchy failed over and over and over again before governments were established, why would it work now? Because people care more today than they did before? No, the difference is the laws and government intervention (subsidies for food, establishment of roads, organizations that look after the amount of contamination in our food, the list goes on) established in the developed world allow for the development of better technology for agriculture, electronics, education and in the end better lives for us all.

I think you may need to reconsider this.
The two greatest governments ever in the world were the Greek and the USA. Yes other forms do work, for a while, but they fail to corruption.
We the people need to get our rebublic back.
