Why Barack Obama Won the Presidential Election:

Did you vote for Obama? Let us know...

There's a very simple, clear reason why Barack Obama won the 2008 Presidential election. The majority of America voted for him! Very simple, right? Well, although that's the reason why he ran, you should also ask yourself why the majority of Americans voted for him. This is a very controversial subject.

Some would say that Obama won because of the 96% of African Americans, as well as the majority of the Hispanic community voted for him. Some say this could have swayed the election in his favor.

Obama supporters definitely tend to believe that he won the election because of his views and policies, and not because of his "Way" with the younger, more vibrant crowd. Of course, many people disagree with this. But, there's no way to prove either one of them is true or false.

So at this point, the more important question is what Barack Obama is going to do with our country, not why Barack Obama won the 2008 presidential election. Hopefully, Barack will do a great job protecting us, and changing this Country in a positive manner.

But back to the main question, why Obama won... Could it have been because George Bush ruined the reputation of Republicans? Could it be because many Americans felt that John McCain is similar to former president Bush? It's very hard to say for sure. However, one thing is for sure: John McCain definitely gave Obama a run for his money. Many say that McCain was the only person who could even accomplish what he did in the presidential race. Even democrats can tip their hat to McCain for this accomplishment.

I think you are a little premature with this hub. The votes aren;t all counted yet and projections for states do change from time to time as more precincts report in.

I know I'm premature with this hub. I have to get in early! I'm assuming Obama will win. I voted for McCain, but it looks like an impossible longshot for him to win... Unfortunately

Your hub was not premature HonestAbes because most opinion polls had stated Obama would most likely win the election.  I know one Republican who is obsessed with voting statistics and he has been looking glum for the last few days because he said it was pretty certain Obama was going to win the election.
