When Batman Begins was being made I remember thinking, They made the last one of these like a few years ago, it's to soon to restart the series. But then I saw it, it was awesome and I saw it again the next day. When all was said and done, I saw Batman Begins in the theater 3 times and bought it as soon as it came out. But how would they follow it? I remember when I first heard Heath Ledger was going to be The Joker thinking how the gay guy from BrokeBack Mountain was going to ruin a promising Batman Franchise. However, it was obvious when the preview came out that Ledger was doing anything but ruining the series and when the film actually premiered I nearly crapped myself with joy over how wonderful the movie was. Continuing the tradition, I saw the film 3 times and got the movie as soon as possible. Now I am forced to wait because Christopher Nolan wants a break from directing these beautiful movies.

Batman 3 will be awesome because it's inevitable. The first two were awesome, Christian Bale said he'd come back for the third if Nolan did, and it has been announced that although we're probably looking at a 2012 release, there will be a Batman 3. Nolan knows this series and what he wants to do with it, My guess is he already is thinking about what to do with the next film. The early rumors are Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin. Although other rumors point out that since Rachel Dawes died in The Dark Knight,a lack of a female lead might be an opening for Catwoman. The most consistant Catwoman rumor, (Although it seems fake), is Angelina Jolie.

Yes, the third Batman movie will be awesome and although we have to continue to wait, I think it is obvious it won't dissappoint. Until then, let's all continue you watch the media for hints and watch the other movies for strength.
