About Men Playing with Women's Emotions

Why do Men Play with Women's Feelings
Depending on who was wronged in the relationship, the genders can be interchangeable in the topic. Women play with men's feelings but more often than not, men play with women's feelings. Why do men play with women's feelings? The answer to that question is akin to the joke that comedians use and that is because they can. But to put subtance to the answer the question will be answered with reasoning and examples.
Men play with women feelings because of the very nature of a woman and that is to emote how she feels openly and honestly. Women know from the very first sight if they are in love with a man. Their declaration of love is not always answered with an "I love you." Normally a man will be on guard and to keep his strong manliness will more likely answer: "You know that I do." Why is it so hard for a man to say "I love you." Do men think that they are committed to the relationship and they now have to wear a ball and chain and sit glued in front of theTV. For whatever reason, men's inability to say those three words is a clear sign that he may be playing with your feelings.
The woman's openess to her feelings put her in the ball park of the catcher instead of the receiver (excuse the pun) on the diamond field of love. The woman catches all of his faults and promptly forgive them or think she needs to begin to work on herself to change herself to make him fall happily in love with her. Some women try to change him into what she perceive to be a better person. As the receiver of all this affection, the man in the relationship, is put in the pampered position of being loved by a woman. He does not necessarily return her love with the same relationship changes because believe it or not some men still think that a sign of their love is a rump in the hay.
Men play with women's feelings also to get to that rump in the hay. Men do not think the same as women and because they are more visual, they see that they may be able to play with your feelings because of how they view you. If you are a little overweight and self conscious about it, they may think that they can play with your feelings because of your own insecurities. A recent talk show revealed that overweight women get into more intimate relationships than thinner women. Is this because they allow men to play with their feelings and promptly reward them with the gift of sex.
In a woman and man relationship the man is the conquestor or thinks that he must conquer to prove that the woman is worth his time. In the past, women use to play with men's feelings and act like they were "hard to get" so that the man could participate in the "hunt" for her affection. Now the table has been turned with the advent of technology, where women are texting men or calling them on cell phones initiating relationships. That is one of the main ways men get to play with women's feelings. The men think that they are irresistable and if the woman is after him, then why not play around with her feelings. The woman who is constantly emailing him or texting him is taking away his inate male quality of conquering the female.
Men play with women's feeling basically because of the changing of society norms and mores that says that now women can be the conqueror. Men in their practical way of thinking have found another way to combat the female seeking male, when she gets him in a relationship the ball game continues with him playing with her feelings.

well written, I come on , welcome to my hub
Why do men play off your emotions? Do they really get a kick off of it?
sabbatha1, thank you for your comment.
Ii is not that men get a kick out of playing with women's emotions, it is to test to see if the woman is smart enough to turn the tables. The way you do that is to know who you are dealing with and the worth of their intelligence and integrity.
You comment is greatly appreciated.

It's quite simply a part of the dating and mating ritual. a bear or lion doesn't walk up to another bear or lion and just climb on. males have learned it will get them a good swat if they don't slip a little persuasion into the equation...
Some of the human rituals are laughable, such as the age of romance, when men had to take some drastic steps like LEARN TO DANCE ThE MINUET in order to joust later in m'ladie's quarters....
All species are looking for the best mate to climb the evolutionary ladder, in other words, only the best will make it to the gene pool. Natural selection does the rest.
Along this route came the church which had its own say about who would do the procreation and who would serve as an alternate. It's considered romatic to marry for love, assuming then that all wealth is tied into a love for money and there is no romance among the gentry. Henry VIII showed that you could have money and love many women. A wife only lost her head by not producing a son.
Really though, the pinnacle in cheap laughs came to the U.S. in the form of romance in film, which of course avoided all references to sex, or if there was a reference it was considered the lower form of human activity, on the same level as rutting around with beasts, and that's what men were called. The three rules of sex in the movies? Don't, don't and don't ever.
Music followed the genre so one would think the only way to find happiness is to jump off a bridge in Madison County. Or there is the true story of Billy McCollum of Carroltown, Georgia who lit a match at the moon shine dance, and blew us all back to Anniston. And I heard my girl call-" don't never come back---and take your no good guitar and soldier boy friends with you." But we saw each other for two years after, we was in terrible love but promised to another, so all we got was romatic love, she taught me to square dance, and I never forgot about her, my love from Carroltown Georgia.
Good question.
