Why Do We All Want To Work From Home?

I know a few people, who are more than happy to go out and labor for others; but most of us don't like that idea; we would rather stay at home and work in our pajamas.

Why is that? Why do we all want to work from home?

I know it's not because we are lazy and don't want to work, (then we're better off going to work where you get paid by the hour.) Money isn't the case either for many, I know of a couple of people working hard every day for next to nothing; struggling to pay the bills at the end of the month, and yet they would rather work for themselves than to go out and get a job.

I know for many their small children are the reason. By being able to stay at home they don't have to pay someone else to raise their children.

But for those who don't have children, why is it so bad to go to work every day? Why do we stay in bed as long as we can on days when we have to make that horrible trip to our appreciated, yet despised work-setting? Then on days when we don't have to go to work we get up extra early to start working at home.

Top Ten Reasons Why I Want To Work From Home

I'll give you my top ten reasons why I can't stand to go to work anymore. Here they are:

1) The number one reason I want to work from home is so that I won't have to put up with lazy co-workers. I like to work hard and soon people realize that and then the work gets left for me and others who work hard. I have worked with people who bragged about them not having to work hard because others (specifically mentioning my name) would pick up their slack!

2) Next when working at home I wouldn't have to put up with all the gossip and backbiting which goes on in almost every work setting. 3) When working at home the money that comes in goes into my pocket instead of someone else's.

4) There is no greedy boss watching over my shoulder at home; telling me to "get a f****ing move on it" when clearly the sweat is running down my beat red face from already working too hard.

5) At home I wouldn't have to put up with any foul language.

6) At home I can go to the bathroom without having to worry about whether someone is timing me. Neither do I have to document it every time I go.

7) I don't have to work like a robot, when one task becomes tedious I am free to move on to the next and come back to the first when I feel like it.

8) I wouldn't have to put up with grumpy customers who think they should get a deal just because they misread or misunderstand the price of something. (Even if it's only a lousy fifty cent difference!)

9) Working at home would be better for oil companies because I wouldn't have to burn their limited fuel when driving to work each day. Then perhaps the price would go down.

10) Last but not least, I love my pajamas! Getting out of bed is so much easier knowing I can wear my pj's all day!

Oh and did I mention I get to do what I love?!

There are many other reasons why I want to work from home, but life is too short to mention them all. Instead I would love to hear some of the reasons why you want to work from home, leave a comment below or send an e-mail. Thanks for reading.

Very nice hub.

Many people think making money from Internet is very easy job,but it is not.

I am a google AdSense Publisher from last six months and earning some decent income.

I know how difficult for a blogger to make money from his/her blog?

I am hopefully working to reach $1000 limit.

Thanks for reminding the reasons to work from home.

Thanks sukkran for your comment!

prasannasutrave thank you as well! I'm glad to hear that you are doing well with adsense...I'm hoping to do the same! I'm almost up to $100.00 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed they won't suspend me when it comes time to pay.

I hope too that you'll reach your $1000 limit and more!

I agree with all of your reasons. The corporate world is getting ridiculous. I left a job I had for 20 years because the company had taken a turn for the worse, joined another company that I liked and so help me they did the same thing. There are so many companys out there that treat employees like drones. The almighty dollar is killing company loyalty. How can you work for a company that treats it's employees like dirt?

sabreblade thanks for agreeing with me! I sometimes feel like it's just me that has issues out there, lol.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, it's sad when 20 years of loyalty don't mean nothing. I hope you find success online if you havn't done so already!

All the best!

I work from home because I have the freedom to do what I would like to do. I have worked on two companies before but I quit becuase there's no room to optimize my skills and talents.
