Thanks RKHenry, I need to put more effort into learning all that hubpages has to offer. I'm wading into the water slowly but enjoying it!
RK, I love the update, it has a glitch or two, and they'll get it right. I'm just not into laying out my hubs like all you pros as i just don't give a chit. I mostly just want my art and or writing do its thing for me and the reader/viewer.
It takes a lot of courage sometimes to do what I do, it is very nerve wracking to put something like mine out there for all to see, well some of it anyway. I have much trepidation at times hitting that publish button I tell you. It's worth it in the end. I enjoy it emmensly.
C.C., your one of my favorite authors. I like your style. I think you a very talented and it takes a lot of courage to let yourself out like that, man. It is worth it in the end.

I'm here because of the great company! Wish money was involved, but at least there is plenty to keep me busy. (too busy most days!) :)
Great hub - and you included a list ! Was that influenced by "I List, therefore I am" ?
Why an I here ? Well, I can't rememebr how I found Hub Pages but but I know that I was searching for on line writing outlets as I'd just been let go by a client for whom I had been writing for 8 months and who paid me 800 euros a month - they were letting all their writers go as a result of the recession.
So - first impulse was to earn money (my income having been decimated) - but I stayed because of the warm welcome, opportunity to write about whatever I want and the elegance and ease of use of the HP interface.
I stayed longer - and now cannot imagine life without HP because of the warm welcome and frienships that I've made.
What a fantastic job , you did and quite superior I should say so myself!!!! Thumbs up and kudos..:)

I concur with many of these points.
As an artist I try to fold many things into one lump--like my "thought bubble" Hubs about one particular topic through different use of umpteen different mediums.
