My life is divided into two categories: B.C. and A.C. I don’t mean before and after Christ but instead, before and after Craigslist. It's difficult to even remember how I found or accomplished anything without it.

I think I may have been one of the first women trolling the men seeking women section, in secret. Though dating through Craig's may still have a slight taboo, it didn't stop me from utilizing it to meet my ex and my current boyfriend. The paid dating sites I tried failed to provide much success. My myspace blog became devoted to telling the tales of my Craig's dates. In fact, I went on one date with a guy who contacted me, not for another date, but because he was left out of my blog and wanted an entry. I granted his wish.

I've used so many of the categories. One of the most compelling jobs I've ever had I found through CL. I helped people realize their dying wish of meeting, speaking to, or getting something signed by someone famous. When I moved to a new city, I found a new gal pal through activity partners. I started a writing group, sold furniture, found a grief group, read rants and advertised my writing services all for FREE! At one point I even contemplated producing a one-person show, singing the site's praises.
