Why I Write Political Hubs
54I become policatical active over the last two years of my life. During this last election I became very interested in the government system. I used to think it was boring, non important stuff. I now understand the relationship between government and our quality of life.
I have found that I am very conservative. That is small government and people freedoms. I believe the government is for the people for providing protection for us. i also believe that government should stay out of the lifes of non criminal people.
I believe in God and feel the government should stay our of religion and many other portions of our lifes.
Lately, many groups, mostly from the left who do not believe the same, have became very powerful and have used the government to take away our freedoms. They have wrecked havick on the quality of our lives, and want to control us. This has really come into effect a lot more since 2004.
The late absolute control over the legislature system has allowed the liberals to basically do and pass what ever law they feel like. They have lied and used every deceitful thing in their playbook, and then blame it all on the conservatives.
I am using these hubs to show my disapproval of the things they do, and to expose them. Besides it is fun watching them. They hate the conservatives and what conservatives say, so much, I think they have to throw up from the hate they have. I hope to make them so miserable that they will change their ways.
And it is very easy to say what threatens the liberals and what they hate. They attack and try to distroy, at all costs, that which stands in their way. That is why we have to stand up, because the stakes have been raised, and we must raise out stand, or we will lose out.
I also write to show the republican party, which is the only thing that can stand up to the liberals, that they need to shape up. They have been acting too liberal and have lost the trust of the conservatives. We do not need to liberal parties. We need a strong conservative party to stand up to them. Instead, we have been listening to them and trying to become more like them, and this is causing the GOP to become very weak. A strong conservative stance will bring the party back. We are in disperate need of this.

As I am a bit of an anomaly that I have alot of conservative beliefs and tend to see eye to eye with you on most Issues .I do have to say that In order for the Republican party to make a comeback first and foremost they have to start walking like they talk . If they want to talk family values they had better quit the affairs on the side . They are under such a microscope right now that they have to be nothing less then Impeccable !
I too believe In small Government and staying out of our lives . But I will also say that both parties are now beholden to the special Interest groups who finance them and keep them In power . And the end result Is we have a citizenry that Is disenfranchised and growing ever more angry ! I love your political hubs . Keep them comin !
Nicely done. I'm a Constitutionalist. I hate anything that is not in the Constitution. Dept. of Education being at number 1 down to a Federally controlled gov't and no states rights. (The real reason for the civil war, not a bunch of slaves) Every time I turn around this communist is turning more and more like Stalin and I wonder how the idiots of this country turned into such wimps and losers with their hands out asking for more. This is America, you either make it or you don't. They way it should be. And by the way, throw all the illegal's back across the border and we wouldn't be so damn broke. I'm tired of paying for these crybaby's living off the teet of my taxes and shipping the money back to their "home". Go back and fix your own damn country and let us fix ours. Anyway, I'm digressing again.

Tony, Thanks for Hubbing by. Like I say, I am conservative first. What you have said is correct. The GOP has to shape up and ship out, but remember we are not all perfect, and congress has a way of corrupting people, not to make excuses. Like I also said, I write to tell the GOP to straighten up. We are not happy with them at all.

I can relate to you on the constitutional side. I am probably more of a conservative/constitutionalist, also.
I did not realize until that last year, that the civil war and what Lincoln did, was possible illegal according to the congress. I have not been able to find anyone that knows enough to say yeah//neigh on that statement.
We have to make a stand against this communist direct we are headed. Reagan is turning over in his grave. I am wondering if Newt Gingrich is going to make a run for President. I think I would like him or Romney. I am getting excited. And with Palin making the Liberals so upset and be a distraction for us, someone else may sneak in under the radar of the libs, until it is too late to stop him.

eovery, As a moderate Republican I would say we have many of the same values. You are correct about controlling three houses of government to an extent. When you have enough votes to shut the other party out leads to ............well you can see. The people raising their voices like, is something I have not seen in my lifetime. Many will argue Viet Nam, but this is more than one issue and is fighting for the constitution.

Bad press led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for
injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty.
The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.
"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained, "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute."
"I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country," Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd
have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."
