Men cheat for many reasons, simple as that.  More than often enough, men cheat on their significant others, not necessarily for sex (apparently, it is very minimal) but for emotional reasons.  Men are very emotional creatures, even more than they would like us to think so.  Sometimes, I have pondered the question myself, thinking to myself, are men MORE emotional than women?  I think so..

Men need to feel good about themselves, to feel worthy and often, their emotional needs are overlooked in many relationships.  When they begin to feel that their girlfriend, wife, doesn’t seem to take an interest in them anymore, they will seek the attention elsewhere, often without being aware of it!  Online conversations, co-workers, casual acquaintances, it will begin somewhere.  A new person interested in them, curious about what they do, who they are and what they have accomplished.  Someone to hear about their day at work, to support them in their views and decisions and other little things like that.  The relationship will begin on a friendly level and often turn into an intimate one.  They will have found a good friend, someone who finds them interesting and worthy, someone who makes them feel special.  They are still little boys at heart and the little boy must be loved, cuddled and listened to.

Some women are naturals at attracting men that have emotional wants.  You would be surprised that many times, it is not the most attractive sexy women or hottie that will become involved with the cheating man.  Men want more that sex and good looks or a hot body, they want a best friend who will listen to them and support them without making them feel like children, but special adults.

My advice for you gals out there with men in your lives.  No matter how long you have been together, don’t ignore him.  Ask him every day how his day went, what happened, how did he react to a certain situation, etc.  Be interested in him as a human being, praise him, and make him feel good and wanted.  Support him when he has a bad day, lift his spirits, tell him what you love about him, every day, no matter how small it may be.  Be his best friend and see how he will never look at another woman but you....
