The decision to use Michael Jackson death to promote the growing drug epidemic was a choice that was consider for a long moment,but as the news spread that this tragic death was drug related we at williamjordandirect felt obligated to speak out about the growing drug epidemic that will ride the current administrations soft stand on drugs.Mr, Obama and the liberal left have made the choice to pretend that drugs are no longer a threat,some will-say this is not true or only a half truth.But being one who suffered from this same liberal approach in the sixties that led to the current drug crisis.

When President Nixon announce the war on drugs forty years ago.He was trying to turn the tide of a drug culture that threaten to destroy America.

In the last forty years drugs have affected every aspect of America's society,rich,poor,famous,black or white we all have seen drugs ruin our culture.In return we saw our government take a strong stand on drugs,and the tide has not been turn because the objective was miss directed.The policy of locking abuser and dealers up has not curb the problem.Many will say that this is the reason for the new approach but being one who has studied the affects of drugs through personal experience.I say its time we look at the illness.

Drug abuse is a serious illness a deadly illness that if not treated the abuser dies,Michael Jackson's demise testifies loudly to this fact.So does the ideal that suffers from this illness need medical help not to be locked in jail.But at the same time we cannot allow them to run free,drug related death should be call suicide by choice.When the abuser refuse too seek help he chooses to die,but the nature of the illness is so cunning the abuse is left unaware of his choice.

The user most be treated if hes to live this is why prevention is the most effective tool and the treatment of addicts when one is known to be out of control medical help is not a choice if the addict will not seek help on his own then he must be force.AS Michael Jackson's doctor come under investigation they should be found guilty of not rendering treatment for a deadly illness.
