It is a known fact that the media is in love with President Barack Obama if you discount Fox News which is still in denial. The media has followed President Barack Obama everywhere he traveled before being sworn in as president. Political pundits and people who would like another republican in the White House is saying that the television media elected President Obama. In recent days, ABC news Charles Gibson reported from not the outside of the White House as a backdrop as most newsmen but inside one of the presidential rooms. Political critics do not understand why President Barack Obama frequent television appearances and press conferences have not played out in disinterest.
A few people are saying that after the presidency of George Bush that was summed up with an international shoe throwing event is the reason for President Barack Obama popularity. They are saying that President Bush was so disliked by the American people especially after the voting incidence with Al Gore that makes President Barack Obama's integrity appealing. Others think that President Barack Obama proclivity to answer questions from the press intelligently and as a president with far more experience is the reason for the media's love affair.
President Barack Obama has orchestrated a campaign in full view of the media and has not downplayed technology in his advancement to the presidency. The president's use of technology, noticeably, his blackberry has brought the presidency down from the the White House on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to 1234 Main Street. Americans can use the social networking web 2.0 technology to connect with the president on Twitter.
President Barack Obama is keeping up with the different communication devices available to connect with the American people. As Americans walk around with their portable wireless devices, there is a sense of familiarity that breeds when being about to Twitter the President of the United States.Americ an's fascination with President Barack Obama does not seem to be fading..
If you want to know why the media is having a love affair with President Barack Obama, just ask the average American. The same reason that Americans are fascinated with President Barack Obama is why the media has a love affair with Mr. President.

Media loves President Barack Obama because the American people have expressed his approval rating of over 60% which is unprecedented. If all 307 million Americans would contact the media and say that they have had enough of Barack Obama, the media would stop the coverage. Why? Television networks have an audience to satisfy so the public will continue to view the millions of dollars spent on advertising and most media types.
The media is knowledgeable of supply and demand. There is a huge demand for information on President Barack Obama. As the first African American president, Americans are interested in his governing. As A law profession, Americans are curious of the legal ideas he will bring to government. As a commander in chief, Americans are concerned about how he plans to end the war in Iraq. As a father, Americans are curious how he plans to raise his two girls in the white house. As a president with "rock star" appeal, Americans are curious about his adaptation to the media circus. As a president voted for his platform of change, Americans are curious about how the country will change under his presidency.
American's would like to know why are they so enticed with the Senator from Chicago that won the White House by a landslide. The answer lies with each and every American who voted President Barack Obama into presidential office. Do Americans approve of President Barack Obama because he is always working for the American people with the $787 Billion Economic Stimulus Plan, the Housing Reform laws, the G-20 World Economic Summit, the Credit Card Bill of rights and now modifications in the health care system?
If you are able to answer thequestion why Americans find President Barack Obama fascinating, you will have come closer to answering the question, why is the media having a love affair with Mr. President?

Darlingthrush, thank you for your comment. I think that the House of Representatives and the Senate has checks and balances to keep President Obama in check. Also David Axelrod is doing an excellent job as senior advisor along with Obama's top aides. President Obama's policy of transparency keeps the American people informed of his political intentions and the media is just along for the ride to print and speak news of the Obama administration.
I strongly disagree with your thesis. The MSM are in bed with Obama because they would consider it unseemly to criticize a black man; because they admit they are staffed 90% by leftists; and because they are in serious trouble as their ratings plummet and they are hoping for largess from taxpayers as repayment for their loyal service. Fox News in denial? That is a joke. Fox News is terrific and the only wall between the total loss of our freedoms. Fox News' ratings are through the roof. And who are their viewers? People who believe in America as a great nation that is the light of the world. Which it is.
Do you not see what is going on here? You don't see the nationalization of our insurance industry, banking industry, car industry and soon the health care industry? You do not see the Marxist ideology of Central Planning in full view? Talk about denial.
James A Watkins, thank you for you comment. All I can see is change that was greatly needed after a presidency that catered to the rich as evidenced by his selection of the most millionaires in a presidential cabinet than the history of United States.
A president only five months in the presidency has to play the hand that was dealt him or as he states the "mess that he inherited." When you have a mess to clean up, you have to make changes or it breed more of the same. The American people were so fed up with the politics of the Bush administration and getting ignored that I believe they would have voted in a president regardless of race and that is what the American people did.
We can all sit back and point our finger at the young president and that is our American right. But if no action is taken to clean up the garbage that Bush left, then all it will do is to mount up. People were losing their homes long before Obama became president. Obama was elected president in January 20, 2009, the recession started in December of 2007. Chysler a a business was out of control before Obama got elected. GM was heading to bankruptcy before Obama became president. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac needed held before Obama became president.

I disagree with your thesis also. The love affair with the media for Obama is sickening. Don't listen to what he says but watch what he does. And David Axelrod? I got an email reminding me of one of the Presidents speeches a couple of months ago. I sent back a pleasant email and suggested that the new health care process should be slowed down in order to write a good bill. David Axelrod emailed me back with just one sentence, "This is not a joke." I never implied it was a joke, not did I show any disrespect to the President. I didn't appreciate the reply. I blocked his messages, then I opened a second email address. After about
2 weeks I received another email from David Axelrod. How did he know my address? I sent it straight to spam. Most of these Czars the President has appointed have a lot of garbage in their backgroune. For instance, we learned this morning that the education Czar has a history of drug use! These people aren't vetted apparently. It would be tougher to get a job doing dishes in the White house than to be an advisor to the president.
Pamela99, thank you for your comment. I would have questioned an email from David Axelrod and you were right to send it to spam. The president can not be responsible for the people's background and a few cabinet members have bowed out on their own once they discovered they had tax problems. President Obama is basically playing the hand that he inherited and I stand by the articles's title that most Americans and especially the media are impressed with his charisma and intelligence.
