Why Single Men Can't Cook

O there are not many dinners, I'm afraid that a single guy can make at home. But if you have two guys, instead of a single guy, you might be able to do a little better, but not much.

The problem is that men, while they can cook, don't like to do it and therefore they don't do it well. Sure there are men who can cook well, but they also the kind of men who spend hours picking out a conditioner for their hair and never wear mis-matched clothes.

I'm afraid most men are not that way, and so most men cannot cook.

Of course, if you ask any woman, Rachel Ray for example, and she will say that 'o you know, men are really better cooks than we are', but that is only because Rachael Ray wants her husband to do the cooking so that she can relax and watch The View on TV while he slaves over the stove at his rigoletto lasagna...(or whatever.)

Make no mistake. If you are a single man 'cast aside all hope those who enter here'...as far as cooking goes.

You cannot do it.

You really can't.

You could make a farce of cooking for a week, but I guarentee at the end of that week you will be sneaking out to Subway to get a 12'' sub with extra cheese and your apartment will be ceiling high in the dishes you don't want to wash until next month--dishes you used in your distastrous attempt to cook healthy meals for yourself.

Sure there are great men chefs in France and other cosmopolitan cities. But they are getting big bucks for it. That's a job.

Men are good at making money.

It's what they do.

But don't ask a man to cook his own supper! Please. It's unnatural.

In fact it should be illegal.

How far up yourself are you. I have cooked for my three daughters and over eighty children in day care for fifteen years almost every night. DO NOT, categorise me or any male in that manner.

Men and women can cook, but I will say there is a difference in the Way men and women cook most often.
