For those persons who are new to Hubpages or Xomba or blogs and want to earn money by writing they need to have google adsense account. But reality is that google has tighten their terms for adsense and they are not giving it easily for new bloggers. Also, whosoever come to blog would not be able to make a good traffic in start as google itself doesn't index blogger accounts easily. Generating back-links and gaining good page ranks of your blog will take around 2-3 months at-least. So, how can a new person can generate money by writing?

Only thing left with them on hubpages is generating from kontera and amazon account as ebay also has strict their rules for hubpages. These are not paid to clicks but are paid to sell. What if you not able to sell any amazon product in a month? How can you earn ? It is very terrible situation. Can a person earn money without google adsense? YES!!

There are websites from where a person can earn 20-50% of revenues website is generating from advertisements of their google adsense. It really sounds good as they are giving 20-50% unlike hubpages where it grabs all 100% money from google adsense. Some of these websites are-

triond

squidoo

bukisa

These are leading websites where you can earn from their google adsense accounts. Off course you can also setup Amazon and eBay accounts there like here at hubpages. What else you can do there?

Lets take example of squidoo where you make your own blog known as lense and customise according to your needs. It basically solves problem for a newcomer to writing. As many writers just can't wait to earn because of lack of support from google in starting. They need platform like squidoo to reach target audience and earn money. What is funny to consider is that squidoo has page rank of 7 which is just 1 more than hubpages. So, you can see that many potential writers are writing under squidoo which google has been unable to recognise. I am also writing over hubpages since 2 months but not able to make a penny yet. I have plenty of hubs till now but Hubpages has been unable to encourage writers like me. I also had blog running since 2 months and my website is still not indexed by google and yahoo. But, rankings of my website shows that I have plenty of visitors over my blog last 2 months and none come from search engines rather they came from forums and websites where I participate. So, If you are new like me then just don't waste time while waiting for google adsense account and just go for websites where you can earn your share of money from earnings of their google adsense accounts.

Thanks and God bless

Dear Saurabh, great info. However, I wish to make a correction. Squidoo does not pay 50% of adsense revenue to writers. There payment model is different. Squidoo first accumulates all adsense earnings of the site and then it pays writers proportionately based on their lens rankings. I am not sure if they have made any changes recently.

Thanks for the reminder that there is life beyond HubPages (though I do love it here). Nice Hub - I'm a fan.

one small correction hubpages, does not take 100% it takes 40% of clicks, ( so in other words, if tehre are 10 adsense advertisments, then 6 are your adsense code and four are thiers.) it can be found in the FAQs.

Also I do use Squidoo as well and it is based on rankings, the better the rank the more money you get. No changes to Sauidoo as yet.

You've done a good job.

Also your keywords are a bit to broad, they might not be getting you traffic.

If you don't have a google adsense account, then from what I understand you have ttwo options you can say not to add teh google adsense advertisments, when creating your hub, or if there is google adsense on your hub, I believe it does go to hub pages.
