Why The Left Fears Sarah Palin

Many people probably thought Sarah Palin would disappear from the political landscape after the 2008 elections. It s obvious the Left would like to see just that. Palin has become the leading candidate for the 2012 republican nomination among political pundits. That front runner status is not always a welcome tag for potential candidates. Democrats are trying to make a joke out of her potential candidacy now. You may be wondering why the Left would fear the Sarah Palin you saw in the 2008 campaign. They don't fear that Palin. They fear the real Sarah Palin. The McCain campaign wasted Palin and payed the consequences at the ballot box. Conservatives were waiting for a reason to vote for McCain. Palin could have been that reason. Now a free Palin can be herself. That is something the Left is unprepared for. They don't want her crossing America spreading the conservative message.

The Left has a problem with Palin being a woman. They have tried to stereotype women into the Feinstein, Boxer and Pelosi mold. They want us to believe that all women are in support of the Lefts ideology. They want us to believe that all women favor abortion. However, you will find that many women are concerned about the way the Left devalues human life through the genocide called abortion. Sarah Palin is making it alright for conservative women to speak out again. The Left can not handle that. It will expose them for the minority of women that they are. The Left always fears a conservative that isn't a white male. It leaves them unable to try and make conservatism all about old white men.

The left also does like the fact that Palin gets it when it comes to conservatism. Conservatism is bigger than the republican party. America is a center right country. The people are waiting to hear the rallying call from a conservative candidate. That candidate does not have to be a republican. If you recall Palin said she would campaign for candidates that shared her beliefs even if they were democrats. She is going to build a national conservative organization and it scares the left. Just as Reagan used a coalition that included democrats and independents to win the presidency. Palin has time to polish herself and become a viable candidate of she chooses. if not she will have developed an organization that can help propel a conservative candidate to the presidency.

The Left always worries when the right gets organized and finds its voice. that is because America supports the principles of conservatism. They just need a candidate to unite around. We don't know yet if Palin is that candidate. If nothing else she will reignite the conservative flame. The Left has good reason to be afraid. Watch as they try to tear apart over the coming months and you will see the level of their fear.

Thanks for this hub - I love and admire Sarah Palin. Even though she is no longer Gov. of Alaska, I believe God has great plans for her and I do hope to see her in 2012.
