Why To Click Ads
Most people never click on ads, many ignore them completeky, and some even avoid them on principle to not support companies like google or amazon that supply the ads in questions. But I tell you now, click them. I'm not asking for my own to be clicked, oh no. For one that would be a infraction of google policy that states you cannot ask or force people to click on your ads. For two, it just wouldn't be very respectable at all, now would it?
What I'm hoping to achieve is general support for and from everyone in the blogging/hubpages community. A couple months ago hubpages reached a milestone of 100,000 registered users, with an estimated amount of over 55,000 hubs in existence. Now even if we assume that only 1/10 of the registered users are active that still makes at least 10,000 people. If 10,000 people click on an ad from someone elses hub per day, thats about $5,000 in created income, not counting the page impressions that come with it. To look at the bigger picture, this $5,000 per day generated income to hubbers would translate to $1,825,000 per year to the hubbing community, in addition to the money the impressions give to Hubpages to help continue this great resource. This money is then spent in local economies and helps to stimulate them. If you think about it, Hubpages is helping the world economically, as well as with the knowledge the hubs provide.
Admittedly, it's not a good thing to just randomly click ads you aren't interested in. It cheats Google (or whichever ad provider) and the compaying paying them to host the ads. So I suggest this: Make a point of looking for an ad that interests you, and click on it. Browsing around hubpages for even just a few minutes looking at users posted hubs and profiles, I've seen ads varying from PSP's, home business, home gardening, CAD design work, food recipes, and many more things. There's easily something for anyone and everyone.
This doesn't require much more than most of us are already doing. Browsing Hubpages and reading interesting articles. Lets just take our support one step further and stop avoiding ads.

Buying From Amazon/Ebay
In addition to clicking links, if you are already going to buy an item from Amazon or Ebay, why not buy through a link from a fellow hubber? This act would cost you absolutely nothing more than the few seconds or minutes it takes to go to a hub with the item you want listed.
