Looking at possible culprits of tiredness

Do you ever have a day when no matter what you do, you are just sluggish and seem to have absolutely no energy? You just woke up after a solid 8 hours of sleep, but you are still so tired, that even just thinking about getting up seems to be a big chore? If you can answer yes to these questions you may wish to read on.

Being tired from time to time is normal, but when you never seem to be awake, energized or alert you are heading straight for a health risk. Being tired all the time can be caused by many different things and we are going to take a quick look at a couple of those possible reasons.

Constant stress and worries can sap your lifeforce.

When stress is part of your everyday life and you can barely seem to get your head above water due to bills, relationship or work issues it is not surprising that you are feeling sluggish and tired. Your brain can only take so much of the stress hormons your body is releasing and your mind will automatically protect itself. Your tiredness is your minds answer to being overloaded. If you sleep you can avoid the stress.

Low Iron count.

Another simple explanation is a low Iron count in your blood. If you are not sure what the problem could be, you may want to talk to your doctor. The answer could be as simple as an a low Iron count. If this is the case, your doctor may tell you take some iron pills or in some extreme cases give you an infusion of iron into your blood. You can also regulate this yourself by eating foods that are rich in iron.

Your body needs Vitamins.

Try taking a good multi -vitamin. Make sure it has all the B Vitamins included, Calcium and Magnesium. These days we no longer eat as healthy as we should and sadly our bodies don't get the nourishment it needs. By taking a good multivitamin, we make sure that we have the vitamins our bodies need to get fueled back up.

Not enough fresh air.

Our bodies need exercise and fresh air. If you are inside all the time or worst yet are in constant bad airventalation we end up breathing stale and already toxic air in. The result is this constant tired feeling we get.

Depression.

I bet you been waiting on this one. Yes, depression is one of the major keyfactors. If you are constantly tired and have no interest in anything anymore, this could be a sign that you are suffering from a form of depression. Winter month with their long periods of darkness and drearyness are well known to bring depression to the front lines for many people, especially the elderly.

Take a closer look at your work schedule.

Did you have a rough time at work lately. Been working a lot of overtime? You can only punish your body and mind so much with overworking before you will eventually go into shut down. If you have been working double and triple of what you usually do this could easily be a reason for your constant tiredness.

Of course illnesses, chronic desease and more could be the reason as well. Take a good look at your lifestyle choices and see if you may find a clue within those areas.
