Actually I am amazed by the ignorance in this question. I am nondenominational. I choose not to choose a particular religion becuase they are all based off the same belief . There is only one the great him , love worship, obey, which is also what man based his laws apon. When this nation was created we were governed by the catholic churches and any one who was not catholic the crime was punishable by death.(In my opinion that is religious opression) Then also the catholic preist which then and still is to a certain extent  had been given full authority running our country. And if that isn't a sign of religious opression then what about when started our constitiutions stating in one nation under god in divisible with liberty and justice for all.  One nation under god? There are atheist here lol.

I am not at all knocking having religion pushed onto our country, becuse I belive that our nation was built apon the idea and trust in god and if its not broke don't fix it. If we don't put in god we trust on our dollar bill then who do we trust? In ourselfs we trust? I feel more comfortable when someone says trust god as apposed to trust me. 

I believe everyone should get over it. This was a nation of god before we was even a thought on the earth so how can we even complain? It went on millions of years before we was born and us not knowing and it will continue millions of years before we are gone. It didn't hurt us then and its not now, its like complaining because the guy next door to you painted his house red. Just because you feel more comfortable looking at white he shouldn't have to hide or change his house. It's not killing you.
