I love this picture. It makes me feel important, significant--despite whether its true or not.

There are a few reasons why I hub.

• I want to be seen and heard, i want my ideas to impact and influence others
• I hope to see the occasional glint of coin when the end of the month comes round and Google Adsense makes it's check-up
• I have enough time on my hands
• I like hubbing! It's fun to write and refreshing to have my friends in the hubpages community encouraging me!

This is my favorite part about hubpages. As I read Hubs from my favorite authors, I see that they aren't just the type to write a masterpiece and turn their nose up. They realize how much patience and perseverance it takes to get to the point their at. I see them commenting, asking requests, and being active in the hubpages community.

I see the comments on other's articles and (although some are controversial and arguments get hot) everything is warm and friendly (for the most part--in some cases, civil will have to suffice).

I cannot stress enough how much that alone has encouraged me to write my hubs. Thank you to all of those super-star-hubbers out there who helped me get on my feet and start hubbing:
