The fourth of July origin happened in 1776 when the colonist grew tired of the great Britain telling them of what to do. Great Britain was making all the rules and telling the original residents of the country which were the colonist about what they need to do. In the year 1776 the things came to such a pass that it became intolerable to follow the orders and the colonists decided that they will break free and announced the independence from Great Britain.

Thomas Jefferson wrote a document called the first draft of the declaration of independence which he was instructed to do so by the Congress when they met in PhiladelphiaPennsylvania. This day is called the Independence Day as when we officially declared the independence from Great Britain.
Each year the Fourth of July is celebrated on the said date i.e the Fourth of July and also a lot of towns as well as well as states organize events and activities to mark the occasion.
