Why do we search for sex on the Internet?

For many people the anonymity that suggests the Internet, and the feeling of freedom of expression, the limitless possibilities of finding represented their sexual fantasies, the long-awaited chance to break free from the restriction of the body (which many fans feel) are among other factors determining the charm and allure that causes many cyber sex in humans.

Even in cyberspace any variant is possible it is even possible for a man "to be" women and vice versa.

Often this practice, just fueled by the possibility of escaping the reality that many are seeking, leads to addictive, obsessive or compulsive, (usually in individuals who suffer from problems with their corporeality, poor self-esteem, and sexual disorders) that forced to stay connected for hours to get the much coveted treasure: "the power"

And maybe you can ask what is that?

As the power to be able to break the fear and guilt, the power to look and feel without the fear of social censure, discrimination, punishment, rejection. The power to overcome shyness.

Many people feel a great inhibition to be connected, and we therapists, we know the tremendous weight, which in many inhibitions and produce serious consequences for them in the areas of vinculares individual.

Why is it that sex is the primarily search on the Web?

In principle, as I said before there are many reasons why people feel enticed to enter the cyber space.

Also in this search, blogs are not excluded (although their wealth lies in establishing a new dynamic for communication across a wide range of subjects). Anyway they will not escape being seen as another option to also establish some kind of sexual communication.

Does the Web end up being used to hold a certain sexual repression, motivated by "moral" or socio-cultural terms?

I share the technological and cyber reality and therefore are a sample of our human impulse to develop more and more of our creative skills. (Many are asking whether this will lead us to push human progress or destruction .... I do not I know and I do not think this is the instance to discuss)

What I do know is that today and now I choose to support these processes and developments and I am convinced that one must adapt to our therapeutic tools.

What should we think about the motivations for the use of cyber sex?

I think we should handle it within a limit and have the ability to assess situations, in fact, are detrimental to what we can embrace the concept of "good quality of life or health.

I also believe that its utility should be assessed under certain circumstances, such as allowing some individuals to overcome barriers that often drag on for many years fear, shyness and inhibitions in pursuit of some way to enable them to build relationships and provide their skills of seduction and communication with potential partners or even just friendly relations which are restricted or no life of her personal relationships.

Although we all know the great and irreplaceable value of the enjoyment of a skin to skin contact, eye to eye with our loved or desired, with all that implies, and we share the view of many experts, that these alternative routes can be very useful for people who do not have the possibility of having a personal relationship erotic, disability, illness or isolation.

We must also recognize that cyber sex is not possible and no risk of STDs or unwanted pregnancies. And finally we can say that these pathways may be a useful tool to help couples who must be physically separated by travel, work or other circumstances.

Also, blogs are viewed as a free web space and are used as personal diary.

For some of these areas relative anonymity or no physical presence, they can play and experiment without the risk of giving the face of the tension that can often lead exposed to criticism, the powerful verbal message in conjunction with the look and gestures (so rich for many) that occur in relations person to person.

And for others is surely a good way to establish a rich two-way communication with the possibility of an open dynamic for personal growth, social or professional.

Currently blogs are used with digital cameras to show intimacy. Is this due to a need for exhibitionism or do to emulate a TV star?

Degree of exhibitionism is a natural tendency in human beings, we dress fix, do exercises. We like to see us or for us to look and look. On sex also come into play and Voyeurism normal exhibitionistic elements, which sometimes enrich the sexual encounter.

Similarly in cyber sex was at stake these mechanisms, we want to see and be seen as situations often required to increase the interest and even excitement.
