So you have an Amazon ID to use on HubPages, whether you've acquired it just for HubPages or you use it on another site. You add it to your affiliate account in the space provided on the "My Affiliate Settings" page under "Your Account" and it accepts it.

You're ready to start earning money with your Amazon ID, so you add a few Amazon capsules to your HubPages, hoping people will click on them. However, when you look at your capsule, there is nothing within it, and when you click on it to edit the contents, it says "No Item Found" or something similar. Why is this?

Chances are that the capsule tried searching for items using keywords from your Hub's title. Most of the time, there won't be an item that is called by the exact name of your Hub. For instance, you may have written a Hub about staplers (I don't know), but you titled it "The Most Underrated Office Item." If the capsule tried to search for staplers using those keywords, it probably wouldn't have come up with staplers, unless if there was a book with that title about staplers, by some fat chance.

You can fix this by typing in new keywords (go to "Edit Capsule" at the top of the capsule so it opens an editing box, then click "Choose keywords" at the bottom of the editing box). If it still doesn't come up with anything, try being more specific by clicking the "Choose specific products" button and typing in the Amazon URL, or ASIN or ISBN numbers. If it still doesn't come up with anything, then a product probably doesn't exist.

You might want to try adding an eBay capsule and seeing if you can find the objects through that. Sometimes the capsules can be stubborn, but don't let it discourage you!
