Normally, I write about financial stuff, the bank conspiracy, the corrupt credit based system and how to get free. Today, however, I must write about the cruelty of the celebrity culture we all now exist in.

Really though, this is a much a part of the conspiracy as anything else. Celebrities, tv and films, games and computers are used to hypnotise the public so they never notice the imbalance of their real lives.

But this celebrity world is as blood thirsty and malicious as anything the Romans thought up for the unlucky slaves in the Coliseum. Just ask Britney Spears...

The person who has promted me to write however, is not the illustrious but off balance popstar, (and is she really or is it just media manipulation?) No, it is British model Sophie Anderton.

Consider the height of journalism today, tactics that should be used to uncover government corruption, big business lack of ethics or the facts of what's really happening in Iraq have been used to expose Ms Anderton's desperate plunge into drug addiction and prostitution.

My sympathy is for the young woman and her family. Normally, I wouldn't have too much sympathy for a drug addled supermodel who lives to party in the London social scene but no one deserves to have their darkest times used to titillate the readership of a sleazy celeb obssessed newspaper.

And we are all to blame, I bet at least 95% of people who read that story felt a thrill of satisfaction, a ‘look what happened to her, well, that makes me feel better about my crappy life' feeling.

We are like baying dogs waiting with anticipation for the fox to falter so we can tear it apart, all aided and abetted by a media who has forgotten what it's true purpose is. I, for one, am ashamed of society today.
