Logic and Problem Solving

Basically, math is taught in order to develop our problem-solving skills. Math teaches skills such as logic, deduction, evaluation and patience. The better one is a math the more they are able to solve complex real life problems. Besides learning about money, time, and measurements math skills are used a person's entire life. Tell your daughter to stick with it because girls really can be good a math. The key for kids who struggle is to keep the problems simple. It has been explained to me during my teaching classes that the four functions never change, just their order and the numbers. The order of operations is essential to memorize, as well as functions. But, basically, one is only adding, subtracting, multiplying (which is rapid addition) or dividing (rapid subtraction). If you need some math help feel free to contact me at mrsbillingsley@gmail.com, I have some alternative math lessons that can help even the most confused student. God Bless.
