God's Love

Ultimately, it's God's UNCONDITIONAL Love. This is the very reason why He forgives all our sins. (Hebrews 8: 12 "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.")

No one can measure up to His standards, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Psalm 130: 3-4 has this to say: If you, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness in You, thatYou may be feared."

God's Grace

Ephesians 1:6-8 (6)to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. (7)In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace (8) that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.

We don't need to crack our brains to know why God should forgive. It is in His character and nature to forgive. I want to conclude with this passage from Psalm 103: 3 - He FORGIVES ALL OUR SINS : past, present and future.

1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. 2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
