First impressions last a lifetime so as humans we all try to give our best as we head out each day. We never know who we may meet. Right? Well the problem lies in when we overly try to impress, it seems we are more desperate then we need to be. I speak for women in particular. Women try so hard to impress men especially and almost project a fakeness about ourselves, which men pick up on and go in another direction, or worse they sense the desperation and take advantage of us because we're too dam eager to please.

My advice to women is to walk out of the house only impressed and pleased within ourselves and with that healthy self worth the vibe will be well received by men. Trying too hard is never a good thing, and for me in my gut I know when I'm flowing easy and when I'm being fake. When I see a man that I want to notice me I have the presence of mind to walk over and say hello and ask him his name. I say to myself that I have nothing to lose and he may actually gain from knowing me. If there is a connection or chemistry then great, if not I know when to say "nice meeting you", and walk away graciously.

I'm thankful today that my self worth is in a good space and I don't overly try to impress anyone. When I leave my apartment every morning, I walk out comfortable with what I am wearing, how I look and espeically how I feel about me and if anyone doesn't approve, well that is too bad. I only have to answer to myself....Am I good enough and the answer is YES I AM. The world feels and sees that positivity and responses in kind. I run into lots of men that start random conversations and the last thing on my mind is trying to impress them. When and if they take the time to get to know me they will become impressed! I'm true to me and if all the ladies remember to be true to themselves they will always attract and impress men wherever they go.
