How To Get Whatever The Hell You Want…

In the book Go For Greed! by Nate Rifkin he vigoursly discusses personal deveolpment in a straight up in your face kind of way. Nate doesn't miss a note in this up beat book about How To Get Whatever The Hell You Want Out Of Life Even If You're Lazy, Miserable, And People Don't Like You.

Yes, that is the actual title of the book…

Be Selfish, It's Good For You…

Greed is good! You need to take the negative thoughts about that word away from it for a moment. The trick is to forget about the guilt associated with greed and want because wanting abundance for yourself is not the same as taking away from others.

For example, does want to be rich make somebody else poor? I don't think so.

Neither does becoming rich. The only way you could hurt somebody else by becoming rich is if you actually stole from them. And since no one around here is a theif we don't have to worry about that.

In fact, the best way to help out somebody who's poor is by BECOMING rich first, because that way you actually have money to spare and could help them significantly more than from where you're probably at right now.

Nate uses a great anaology in his book, "One homeless person can't do much for his homeless buddies, but someone who have risen above the homelessness by focusing on his OWN success first is in a much better position to help the others up the ladder"

The message Nate is trying to get across is sometimes it's more important to help yourself first so that in the long run you will be of way more of a help to others that you ever would have been otherwise. Like bailing out your homeless buddies after you make it yourself.

Deep Down, What Do You Really Want?

Everyone on this planet spends the majority of their time thinking about exactly what it is that they DON'T want. It's time to be different than 95% of people out there right now. Take moment to think about exactly what it is that you want. What ever it may be. No matter how greedy it might seem, no matter how selfish you deepest wants and desires are. Put them out there on the table, on the chopping block. So that you physically announce to the universe that this is want you want deep down.

Good, don't you feel better now?

Reading & Studying Are A Total Waste

Some people will seriously spend their whole lives preparing and studying and learning and doing all of this stuff that in reality should just be put directly into action. You could study something your entire life, know everything there is to know about it. But if you never actually DO IT then you will never be any good at it. Simple as that.

To look at it from another angle, you are always going to make mistakes. If you are one of those people who feels like they have to plan every out perfectly before they execute it. Then that's a big red flag. There is not use plotting and planning everything thrying to not make a single mistake because when you try something new, guess what, you are going to make some mistakes, it's just how the game goes. The problem is when you cease to learn from those mistakes. You will learn more from making a huge mistake than you will from doing something flawlessly with out error.
