The Kabbalah, A Spirituality, A Tradition of Insights

As i started compiling this page, a very compelling question came to me. What if we were to hear and read about great beings but never put their teachings into practice and, upon arriving in the afterlife, there they were, asking us what we hadn't understood? Such is the effect of contact with the Kabbalah, the collected writings and teachings of Jewish Mysticism.

In the Beginning

Here to celebrate the primordial A

A good friend who has created All Worlds.

Soon to be in Alpha Garden, Aleph shines on the stage.

Illuminates itself with trumpets and shimmering tiles,

Passageways to birdfilled courtyards spring,

From a single letter and a plain page.

David R. Blumenthal on Daniel Matt's translation of the Zohar

“Daniel Matt’s translation of, and commentary to, the Zohar is a powerfully poetic rendition of this spiritual masterpiece. It is a book to be studied, not read. As one who has pondered and taught the Zohar for many years, I found Matt’s interpretation learned, insightful, and very beautiful. Often, his translation and commentary changed my understanding of passages I thought I had already mastered.”—David R. Blumenthal, Journal of the American Academy of Religion

Guru-C, So much inspiration everywhere and no real time to read it! Thank you for making it easier for all of us to find some great resource material. I'm the guy who stands in the "Religion" section at Borders for hours on end getting more and more confused by each book I take down until finally I go with one that has the prettiest cover, get it home and it's awful. This helps...a lot! Thank you
