Why I Take Supplements
63
There are times, though, when a good diet may not be good enough. Many experts have moved away from thinking of vitamins and minerals primarily as substances needed to prevent deficiency diseases (which are rare these days) and are acknowledging their broader role in promoting optimum health. Researchers are finding that some important vitamins and minerals are hard to get in amounts considered protective against disease through diet alone, no matter how conscientious an eater you are.
Remember, that supplements are by no means substitutes for eating well; you'll still need to make smart food choices. I see supplements as apart of an overall health strategy to optimize your body's own natural healing potential, including eating well, exercising regularly, managing stress, not smoking and limiting alcohol consumption.
Now I'd like to tell you about the vitamins and minerals that I take on a daily basis. Please visit my website and click on the banner for Swanson's Health Products. That is the company thatI have chosen to do business with for many years now. I have found the quality, service and prices to be the very best . I especially like the fact that most all of their supplements are in capsule form which dissolve easily so you know they will be absorbed. They are a member of the Natural Products Association, an organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of nutritional products. The NPA oversees the industry's primary GMP (good manufacturing processes) program. Only 10 to 15 % of the companies participate in this voluntary program.
I highly recommend this company to you and hope you will give them a try and see for yourself. I know you won't be at all disappointed. If you have any questions about supplements send me an email and I'll be happy to help.
