We have been taught that the earth revolves around the sun...BUT....that may not be the case. I suggest that you check out http://www.fixedearth.com/
It may be that everything orbits around the earth! Now before you go defending your position...have you actually been in space and seen the orbit pattern yourself?
Or are you just trusting what you have been taught.
I'm not backing up either theory...that is for you to decide...but at least decide for yourself rather than someone deciding for you :-)

We are not taught that everything revolves around the sun. Newton postulated that Gravitation was universal and described by an inverse square law. This profound and beautiful theory explains planetary motion perfectly.
And by the way, the difference between Newton's theory and the 'fixed earth' notions is that the former is presented in falsifiable statements, and is therefore scientific.
