"Wicked Game" Or Role Play In The Bedroom

Put the kids to bed again, people. This is another one only for those of us who are "of age". This is another one that contains "adult content". I know, who am I kidding?

Kids know all about where babies come from by the time they "graduate" kindergarten. My kids knew more about "the birds and the bees" at age five than I know now! Well, maybe not more than I know now but more than most people know now, at any rate.

(I blame it on that there cable "tee-vee", the public schools and all that stuff on the "intranets." I just can't believe the nasty stuff you can see on there if you spend several hours surfing the web every day. . .but I digress. . .)

Sexual role play is basically an intimate, adult version of role play. A couple assume roles in a sexually-themed drama. While technology today is so advanced that

some people engage in what they refer to as online role play, for now we will limit our discussion of sexual role play to the "real world".

According to various sources, some of the more popular and more common (if you will) scenarios include the following: teacher and naughty/innocent student, employer and maid and master and slave (Civil 

War version and Bondage & Discipline version). Other favorite fantasy scenarios include: coach and cheerleader, police officer and criminal, doctor and patient, hooker and customer, stripper and customer and two strangers meeting in a bar.

Social attitudes towards role play were once generally negative in one way or another. It was seen as something that was abnormal or unacceptable. Decades ago this subject was taboo and something people rarely if ever discussed, but times and attitudes

have changed somewhat. In fact, celebrities such as Hugh Jackman have brought role play into the spotlight and made it almost commonplace. (For those not in the know, Jackman has publicly admitted to wearing his X-Men/Wolverine costume in the bedroom.) Whether it be something two people engage in on special occasions such as Valentine's Day or something that is a more frequent activity, role play in the

bedroom is something that will be a part of the fantasy lives of many people for a long time to come.
