What is Wii Homebrew?

Homebrew or Hombreware is a set of programs and applications that has been written by existing gamers with the sole purpose of being able to modify, improve add features to your wii games console. The good thing about Wii Homebrew is that it's not licensed through Wii or Nintendo, so you will be able to download tonnes of games and applications for your console.

The great thing about unlocking your Wii with the Homebrew software is the fact that you can easily backup all of your current Nintendo Wii games to regular old DVD's. Of course it has to be a blank DVD but that's ok. So now you can put your original gamers in a safe place and play from the backed up games instead of running the rsik of ruining the originals.

It gives you the ability to play emulators which are games that literally turn your Wii into any machine you want from a regular NES to a Super NES, Sega Genesis, Atari you name it you could do it.

But for this you will need to unlock your Wii!
