Wii Unlocking
67Update: The Latest Wii in Black
Nintendo has just released its newest collect of Black Wii - just in time for Black Friday.
........
In the past, the only way to unlock a Wii console is by installing a mod chip.
Not only you need the know-how to open your Wii, fitting the mod chip onto the mainboard of your Wii requires a certain amount of effort and some soldering skills.
Not to mention that installing a mod chip comes at a price. To what I've come to know, this unlocking option is expensive at $100 per installation.
Cost aside, tampering with the hardware will effectively render the warranty void.
Well, the internet is never short of ways and guides for unlocking a Nintendo Wii console but nothing quite compares to one wii unlocking software aptly called Wii Unlockerâ„¢
No Mod Chips for Unlocking Wii
I'm not too sure if there is any other software as easy as Wii Unlockerâ„¢. From my own personal experience, it's by far the easiest option I've found to unlock my Wii without voiding the warranty.
It is simplified to a point that even a complete newbie could use it right out of the box. No console opening, no mod chip installation and yet it comes at the fraction of the cost.
Usually
you cannot play backup games on Wii because of the inbuilt protection
but once I had it installed, I've had no issue playing with backup games, imported games as well
as region-locked games. Furthermore, I'm also able to play Homebrew
games, listen to MP3 or play DVD movies with my unlocked Wii.
If you're concerned about the price, worry not as Wii Unlockerâ„¢ is probably the cheapest Wii unlocking software of its kind. Had the price not been increased, it should now retailed at a special offer price of $29.99.
In short, if you own a Wii console (or decide to get one) and you want to unlock its hidden features, I can't think of any other software that does the job at the half the price and twice the speed than Wii Unlockerâ„¢.
But don't take my words for it. If you can afford it, it really is a small price to pay for a whole new world of Wii entertainment. Beside, if it doesn't work, you can always ask for a refund.
PS: If you're attempting to find the free option to unlock your Wii, your search should end right here. I was naive I thought I could save a couple of precious dollars to go the free route but let me tell you there is none.
So you decide! And see what others have said about Wii Unlockerâ„¢
