A company called Wild Planet has created a series of toys known as Spy Gear. Even though these toys are designed with children in mine, one can’t help but wonder how can adult could not resist them.

Think of the Tri-Link Alarm System as a poor-man’s alarm system. It is called Tri-Link because there are three individual motion-sensitive units that can be used all at once to protect your valuables.

The first sensor will set off a flashing light that will definitely alert some attention. The second sensor will bring more attention as it serves as a loud blaring alarm. However, the thief will really be surprised with the third that can fire plastic darts. Sure, the darts won’t hurt, but they will certainly humiliate anyone who tries to steal.

Even though the Mobile Spy Ear could be classified as a “toy”, the sounds and light are most practical. All you need to do is put them in the area, turn them on, and alarms will sound, lights will flash, and there will be shots fired when someone crosses the line. The Eye-link Communicators x2

Considering the popularity of text messaging in the past few years, it is no wonder that Spy Gear has put out a product that helps the even younger generation to learn it out before they get out of infancy.

There is no better to prepare the next generation for the next phase of text messaging than the Eye-Link Communicators x2. The set up is simple: two keypads that are able to link one with another. All a user has to do is input a message and hit “send”, just like a text-message, Instant Message, or email.

The keypads attach to a special set of headgear that is attached to a special display to be viewed by either the left or right eye. So when a message is sent, the other will see the message scroll across the tiny screen horizontally like a banner. The Eye-Link Communicators take 6AAA batteries and are about $29.95.

Spy Night Scope

I’m not certain if the Spy Night Scope is designed for children who are afraid of the dark, or adults who want to see in the dark, but it certainly satisfies the needs for both audiences.

The Spy Night Scope can see about 25 feet in the dark. This may not penetrate complete darkness but it certainly magnifies the light that is there. The buttons on the side can also make it so a real light will shine, as well as a red-tinted light.
