Wild Orchid Lingerie

Temperatures are set to rise in bedrooms across the UK as Russia's biggest lingerie retailer sets up shop in Blue water Kent, with another three stores planned for the end of the year.

Wild Orchid opened its first boutique in Moscow in 1993 gaining exclusive distribution rights for a number of leading brands in Russia.

They have 216 stores in Russia and the Ukraine.

President and founder Alexander Fedorov said: "The UK is one of the most dynamic lingerie markets and we are very excited about the opportunity to build on the success that Wild Orchid has achieved in Russia."

The shop at Bluewater will combine products from brands such as Christian Lacroix, Roberto Cavalli and Alberta Feretti with Wild Orchid's Vendetta label.

The launch in the UK market will become the first step toward expansion into Europe. The company is already studying opportunities for store openings in Italy and France. It is also considering opening its first store in China next year.
