That's a question that I see asked all the time and few people have the right answer. From my experience, hemorrhoids can go away on their own but it takes time and it is painful. If you are experiencing the full symptoms of hemorrhoids, which are itchiness, pain, swelling and bleeding, then it may be more of a long shot. There are different types of hemorrhoids and you can get lucky and get the less severe type which will go away within a couple of weeks. 

I have heard of people using apple cider vinegar and aloe vera to soothe the hemorrhoid. But these are untraditional methods that can take time until it actually makes your hemorrhoid go away. There are many other home remedies to cure hemorrhoids as well and you should try these to see if they work for you. You can try drinking tons of water and eating foods with more fiber and see how well that works. Again, it really depends on the severity of the problem.
