Will he last the next 75 Days until Inauguration?
The American Association of Physicians and Surgeons has analyzed Barack Obama's speeches and found that he was/is using advanced hypnotic techniques to create a "cult of personality," much like Hitler and other fascists. He uses leading words, like "believe", hope" "change", to create an illusion that things will happen and plays off the emotion of despair that is prevalent due to the current economic crisis. He is promising socialism which is a lure for those in the lower classes to think that they may get a free handout, or welfare check for doing nothing. By the way, this is the complete text on the analysis of Obama's use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques.
Hypnosis is appealing to young people and, surprisingly, to highly educated people. Young people, obviously because of lack of experience, highly educated people due to their appreciation for innovative ideologies, like nihilism. Evan Sayet explains that over the last half century, children have been indoctrinated to practice indiscrimination otherwise or oterwise be considered bigoted. He cites Professor Alan David Bloom's book "The Closing of the American Mind". Mr. Sayet says that the Modern liberal will invariably side with evil over good. Why? Are they stupid? evil? They side with monsters like Saddam Hussein and claim that the terrorists were just "freedom fighters;" they promote even promiscuity amongst our children. These Liberals want to see a Utopia, where, in fact, there is none.
However, socialism has been tried in other countries and we are crowded with immigrants who have left those countries to come to the United States for the opportunity to make somthing more for themselves. Recently, during the campaign, on Colubian immigrant, Tito the Builder, said that he now owns a construction business after working and saving as a plumber for years. He said that the little crumbs from a socialistic administration were not worth his freedom.
Because that is exactly what the Obama socialism would entail, a loss of liberty. We can see this in other countries like Cuba and Venezuela. in fact, we even had a taste of how the Obama-Biden administration would penalize people for speaking out and questioning their credentials and, shall I say, propaganda?
One lady in Texas was called by the Obama campaign and she objected to his stance on abortion. She was later visited by the Secret Service and asked about her "hateful thoughts." We all know about "Joe the Plumber," and how his personal life was made public after he asked a simple question of Barack Obama. This nation was built on the principles of "the pursuit of happiness." We are a capitalistic nation, and Barack Hussein Obama wants to introduce a new model of government.
I think he and his liberal friends will find resistance. Even today we saw that his own campaign workers had a big surprise awaiting them as they did not receive their paychecks. What we have found with socialism, in the words of Margaret Thatcher: "Socialism is great until you run out of spending other people's money."
And, last, but not least will he survive the lawsuits that are demanding that he prove documentation of his citizenship? Justice Souter of the Supreme Court has ordered him to respond the the Writ of Certiorari from the famous Berg vs Obama court case. Will Justice Souter rule that Obama has to release his records by December 1st? Then the Electoral College will actually cast their votes on December 15th and, last, but not least, Congress will ratify their selection on January 6, 2009. Hopefully we are not headed for a Constitutional crisis. There is another lawsuit that has more credibility than Phil Berg's and that is Andy Martin. You can read about it on contrariancommentary.blogspot.com. Andy is a lawyer, but, more importantly, a journalist. He has a lawsuit that is less extravagant than Berg's and is simply asking for access to the "file" on Barack Obama in Hawaii.
I have just learned that freedommarch.org is organizing a march in Washington, January 17, 2009 against an Obama Presidency. Also a new social network americac2c.org has just been formed on Ning.
On another ominous note, is it just a coincidence that the U.S. Treasury Department has jus announced that it will be teaching Sharia law and introducing it to financial institutions, according to Worldnetdaily.net.? Just the day after Barack Hussein Obama buys the White House with millions in illegal contributions, probably from Arabian countries. This has also happened in Great Britain where there are now two systems of law; English law and Sharia law. click on the link and read to the bottom of the article to find out what Sharia law entails for women. Is it just a coincidence that Obama has just met with the Treasury Secretary Paulson? Making corportations "Sharia compliant" is an insidious way to aid and abet the terrorist jihadists.
The real issue that the Electoral College has to consider is his connections to terrorists, like Reile Odingo and Bill Ayers.

The American Association article mentioned is unsigned which makes it dubious. The reaction of the world at large is we are not seen as "ugly americans", so positive changes are already taking place. Let's give the guy a chance and not feed into fear.
no chance. he's way too secretive. We don't know anything about him and what we know only makes intelligent people worry. Obama was elected by people who do not read and people who only see the color of his skin. Also it is a fact that many of his supporters are closet "pinkies". The Consittution is worth fighting for. It's not a meaningless piece of paper that he can trample at will.
will obama last?, we'll see if the change we need he promised if beneficial for all of us.
He must have some powers if he can hypnotize 100,000 people all at once...wow. Thanks for the laugh... 56% of the American people are not black...
You are mistaken...it was Bush who was elected by people who do not read...
In your own words "Hypnois is appealing to young people and, surprisingly, to highly educated people. Young people, obviously because of lack of experience, highly educated people due to their appreciation for innovative ideologies."
Bush trampled over your consituution...Obama will mend it.
Read about this organization on Wikipedia
socialism doesn't work. Obama campaign workers were rupped off today when they went to get paid in Indiana. they waited for hours and most were paid half or less than what was promised. This was 375 people,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0HQU5mhg1c
And believe me Obama has no intention on helping the african american population. he is in the pocket of Wall St. And when the African American population starts to realize that, they will revolt. Furthermore he is only 6% African 43% Arab and 50% Caucasian.
well Uninvited writer, have you ever heard of Jim Jones? Hitler? BTW, i didn't vote for Bush, but I'm not a blind Dumbocrat either who will tolerate misogyny.
How come you didn't approve Ralph's post?
Basically, I welcome an interchange of ideas, but when Obamabots come on to insult me, I don't feel i have to tolerate "their in the face comments" and rudeness.
BTW, uninvited writer, anyone can sign up for Wikipedia to post. so wikipedia is not an authortative source. I have studied hypnosis professionally and I do know that Dr. Milton Erikson is well known and that NLP is taught at Harvard.
Will he last? Good question. My answer is yes for 4 years but no more.
He was elected due to two things: (1) Hate Bush (2) The color of his skin
Everything else was overlooked about the man. What he has promised is going to cost the average taxpayer in taxes and increased living costs in excess of $3,000 a year. Electricity he said, "will skyrocket". Repeal of the Bush taxcuts has been the mantra of Democrats (Pelosi & Reid & Clinton). They will not limit the cuts to the top 5% (if you've been listening to them you know this). There will be no offshore drilling - we will remain dependent on foreign oil (higher prices than what we've seen). He and the Democrats will do as Clinton and Carter did - cut the military to the bone to have money to pay for social programs they promised.
We are going to get CHANGE and have to HOPE for relief in 4 years.
yes, i noticed that even a lot of democrats are getting very worried about his economic plans. also the Afro-americans who were deluded into thinking he cared anything about them. Believe me, when the average Afro-american starts noticing he's not going to :change" anything for them, they will turn on him. It is really the Nation of Islam that is his backup along with the "New Black Panther Party", and, of course, a bunch of Kool-aid internet Obamabots who see racism whenever there is any criticism of the "Messiah". People are preparing for a revolt right now. Did you notice that gun sales skyrocketed today in Texas?
I don't understand why people say "we don't know anything about him..." he's written two memoirs, for crying out loud! If you want to learn about him, and have a sincere desire to understand who he is, rather than just finding information to support your claims that he's akin to Hitler, you'll find plenty of information about the events that have determined his life course and shaped his character.
This hub seems to be written from a place of hate and fear--why perpetuate that type of negativity? And you honestly think he was elected BECAUSE of the color of his skin? What an absurd comment to make. He was elected despite his skin color because our country needs hope, possibility, and committed, thoughtful leadership at this time, and a significant portion of our population recognizes that need.
I understand there are people who have very negative feelings about the outcome of the election, but I hope we can find a way to overcome our differences and work together for the common good. I think we all share a desire to make this country the best it can be, so maybe we can focus on that rather than insulting each other.
yes Melissa we do know a lot about him and unfortunately, in spite of that, the people who voted for him did not consider the fact that he has refused to release any of his records as a red flag. BTW, his books are "memoirs" and are only composite auto-biographies. he has yet to produce his birth certificate. the State of Hawaii says they have some documents, but have not given the entire truth about that either. We know that he was adopted and must have been an Indonesian citizen. yet the MSM and the American public and the DNC did not sufficiently explain his citizenship. When McCain was asked, he showed his birth certificate. Are you aware of the constitutional requirement that a person who has been "naturalized" is not eligible under Article II? He could easily have cleared this whole thing up by producing a "vault" birth certificate. He did not. That means he has something to hide. the birth certificates that he has posted on his websites have been debunked by forensic experts as forgeries. That in itself is criminal.Additionally, he received illegal campaign contributions from terrorists. Is this what you want for a President? A secretive, manipulative dictator who stamps out his opposition by pulling the race card? and, what's more, a misogynist who let his campaign workers put up pictures of his staff wearing "Sarah is a c**t" on his website?
Obama will be a two term president. End of line.
laringo, do you have any concerns that he may be a foreign national? or is that just too conspiratorial? I realize that you may be glad that you have a dark skinned person in office, but according to Dr. Leroy Vaughn MD, MBA he is not the first Black American President. Google it. There were five former presidents who had African blood. Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Calvin Coolidge, and Warren Harding. Plus he is only 6/5% African; 43.5% Arab and 50% Caucasian. He's not the first anything. Just a con artist.
vrajavala, what are you so angry about? And what do you mean "he was adopted"? By whom? He didn't live in Indonesia until he was 6 years old, and his mother gave birth to him in Honolulu, Hawaii. McCain was born in Panama and nobody seems to mind. Why are you so focused on your theory that Obama's birth certificate is invalid? And why do you continually bring up the color of his skin, when this victory is about so much more?
You seem like a very intelligent person, and I share some of your interests, such as astrology, but I don't understand why you have decided to harbor such negative feelings for one man and those who support him. Have you been let down by people you trusted in the past? Or has he done something to personally offend you?
I don't know if you are trying to make some sort of point or not, but I do say to you that I am not happy about some people thinking that the majority of black people voted for President-Elect Obama because he is black or dark skinned as you put it. Skin color has no relevance,we are all human beings.Obama is highly intelligent and has new ideas and principles that will move this country forward. With the history of our country regarding slavery and what African Americans have endured, I am proud of what has been achieved, but there is still more ground to be made on various fronts. The assertion that Barack Obama is not an American citizen is ridiculous. Do you really think that he would run for the highest office in our land, if he was not an American. The man has character and integrity, unlike some who spread hate, fear and lies.
Anger and hate is what we have had for eight years - the democrat side. So before people go accusing those who did not support Obama please take a check on your previous emotions and present ones toward President Bush.
I agree - no hate and no anger. Just the facts! No internet rumours, just facts please. We've had enough of the other. DEms have their victory, so let's clear the air and move on without accusing. Lord knows I didn't like people calling me a racist just because I refused to support Obama. His skin color doesn't matter but his politics do matter. That is the issue that should be discussed.
vajavala,
Obama has been elected now., by a very clear majority. Like yourself, I am familiar with Milton Erickson, and with NLP, and I am a qualified hypnotist. I am aware of ALL successful politicians drawing on NLP techniques at various types. And why not? These methods are widely employed in business, education, sales and marketing, and, I suspect, by many religions! They are a proven and effective technique for making a message stick, and what politician does not want to achieve that?
So Obama has been elected amidst much euphoria and excitement. That you cannot dispute. If despising him gives you pleasure, then you can indulge yourself thoroughly over the next four years. I hope and trust that he will be even half the man that his followers wish him to be, but I suspect that even if he could spin straw into gold and put an end to all war, even that would not be enough for his detractors!
That's all well and good to use rhetoric,Amanda. the point I am making is will he just come clean with his documents to the american public? since the media was in the tank for him and did not properly vet him.
laringo, you say he is a man of character. what makes you think that? he hung around racists, terrorists and criminals.
Melissa, he was listed as "Barry soetoro" in his school records in Indonesia. http://www.daylife.com/photo/01u33pL9Ns06D
His nationality was listed as Indonesian. He would have had to be a citizen of Indonesia to attend public schools in Jakarta.
Seems to me you are the one who doesn't know much about him.
Indonesia does nto recognize dual citizenship. Therefore, when he was adopted he would have lost his american citizenship, if he had it.
Vrajavala, you are hell bent on trying to demonize Barack Obama, and I can't stop you but he never hung around with anybody, including you. He is a better man for that.
The election is over in case you haven't noticed.
Excuse me Laringo, he went to a church that says that says they will hate a god who does not kill white people. He was supported through harvard Law school by Dr Khalid Abdullah Tariq al Masoud according to percy Sutton. Dr. al Masoud is a rabid Islamic.
Mr Deeds, no te election is not over until the electoral college meets 12/15, congress ratifies the decision 1/6 and the president elect is inaugurated.
According to Wikipedia, the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons is a conservative organization opposed to universal health care, and has brought lawsuits against proponents of it. Since google reveals a toilet-clogging quantity of conservative web sites and virtually no one else forwarding the hidden hypnosis thing, I guess I will have to ask some real doctors. I'll get back to you after we have a good laugh.
Mr Deeds, no te election is not over until the electoral college meets 12/15, congress ratifies the decision 1/6 and the president elect is inaugurated.
tom anyone can write anyting in wikipedia. It's been around since 1938 (AAPS)
1943 according to their web site. You should read your sources. But like I said, I will ask REAL doctors.
http://www.coverthypnosis.net/?hop=watac
Would you buy a used car from this man?
There are like 50 sources listed in that Wikipedia article...credible sources.
Vrajavala, You must pal around with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Guess what, the majority of this country disagrees with you and your sad rhetoric.Come January 20,2009,the country and world will welcome a new President. A new day will dawn for the good of our nation and world.
I am a real doctor. i have studied hypnosis. You are right it is 1943. Would I buy a used car from Obama? No way.
laringo is there something wrong with questioning a person like Obama who was in the Senate for 143 days before running. Is there something wrong with questioning why a man who wants his fingers on the nuclear codes to show us his birth certificate, his medical records, his school records? Frankly, you disappoint me.
And, as far as being in the minority is concerned, there were probably a lot of people like me in Hitler's Germany who were overrun by the "cult".
This hub has reminded me of this news item. Last week one of my colleagues gave this disturbing news about an assasination attempt on Obama http://www.wtvh.com/news/local/27427674.html
I don't know what is achieved by such violent attempts. If McCain would have won the elections he would be the President for all Americans just as Obama is now. It's high time some people accepted this reality and move on.
it seems to me that you are all so paranoid. Nowhere have I mentioned anything about assassination. I don't think that any of you really read the article beyond the first sentence and it it's not favorable to your "Messiah", you just jump over the whole thing. If you read it carefully, as I would expect that you might, countrywoman, since your parents are lawyers and Judges, you will see that I have indicated that there will be an attempt to have the electoral college demand that he provide his documentation, i.e., his birth certificate, school records and medical records. Quite frankly you all act like you are part of a "cult," confirming my suspicions.
Vrajavala - I didn't say this hub was about assasination but I just thought I would share it here since it reminded me of it (I wasn't aware of such an attempt in the first place before last week). Once the Presidential designate has been decided it will just be a mere technicality to produce those documents before he takes over. Obama isn't my messiah but it's the reality that he is the next President of US(If McCain would have been elected than I would have said the same thing to Obama followers to accept the reality). Btw "cult" is a term that is used to discredit others who don't agree or are different from us. I have heard even some orthodox hindus term the ISKCON movement as a form of "cult" but I do know better than that as it follows Gaudiya Brahma Vaishnavism. Hare krisna to you my friend. Please don't be suspicious of others my friend (as the hindus say the same Narayan exists in all of us).
No the electoral college is not just a "mere technicality". Also the ratification is not either.
The documentation should have provided months ago and it is a failure of the DNC, specifically Senator Feinstein's office to not have obtained the proper documentation. as I said before. It is a fairly simple thing to do and would have been in compliance with the constitution Article II. The other question is why did he post a forgery on his website? that in itself is criminal. I would expect you to think a little more like a lawyer, given your background. sorry this should have been settled months ago and there is no reason it wasn't, unless he is hoping to perpetrate a fraud.
I know gambling is against prescribed regulative principles but the odds of winning are so high that I am willing to gamble my entire wealth (both here in USA and India) in saying that 99.99% Obama is going to take the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20, 2009. Hence I ventured to make that statement that it will be a "mere technicality". Ofcourse anything can happen between now and Jan 20th hence leave .01% of him not taking over.
Well my parents belong to legal profession not me (Maybe a little ruboff on me does take place)...hehe. Regarding other issues will have to wait and watch how it will all unfold but his taking over Iam absolutely certain. The sooner we accept the reality the easier it is going to be for our transition to accept the new regime.
(P.S: If any of my statements have offended you then I sincerely regret as that wasn't my intention).
Would not worry too much about this hub. I think some people are just upset Obama won the election, which was why a few wrote hubs about how he was not a US citizen before the election. Not to stir the pot, but I received an email saying I have not done my diligence because I said Obama was a US citizen.
I think I could create a conspiracy theory from the comments on this hub. Personally, I am not worried about Obama at all. God will take care of me and my family. Concerning Sharia Law, it has already been used in Texas so decide a divorce settlement. It is just a matter of time now.
Good hub showing your concerns. I didn't click the links because I have no time at the moment.
countrywoman, I wonder what you or your parents would think of this legal opinion?
At this point, Supreme Court Justice David Souter’s Clerk informed Philip J. Berg, the lawyer who brought the case against Obama, that his petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari (which requires the concurrence of four Justices) by December 1. At that time, Mr. Obama must present to the Court an authentic birth certificate, after which Mr. Berg will respond. If Obama fails to do that, it is sure to inspire the skepticism of the Justices, who are unaccustomed to being defied. They will have to decide what to do about a president-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship. “I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate,” says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. “They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution. Even the most liberal justices, however loathe they may to do this, still consider themselves guardians of the Constitution. The Court is very jealous of its power - even over presidents, even over presidents-elect.”
Vrajavala - I am an Engineer by profession hence maynot have the keen legal insight. I don't discuss much politics with my parents when Iam making international calls (least of all seeking legal opinions). By the way the first link is a blog and the second link is public petition.I don't know what else to say on this issue anymore. I do hope whatever is constitutionally appropriate should be followed. May God Bless America and the world. Hare Krishna to you my friend.
well, countrywoman, you don't really have to be a legal expert to understand the point. It's common sense. Barack Obama, or whatever his name is, is not above the law. The first link is to a blog but does contain a quotation from a legal expert. "I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate," says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. "They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution. Even the most liberal justices, however loathe they may to do this, still consider themselves guardians of the Constitution. The Court is very jealous of its power - even over presidents, even over presidents-elect."
BTW the 2000 election was settled by the Supreme Court
No disrespect but that link is an unsigned article on their letterhead- far from what I would consider an actual medical paper on the subject. I think Obama is a brilliant orator, the likes of which we have not seen for quite some time, and that fact alone probably raises suspicions . I bet that naysayers said the same things about John F. Kennedy.
Good writing though!
After thinking more about what this hub is actually saying, I must speak this. Internet marketers use words that will hypnotize in the same way that this hub speaks of. All SEO experts use keywords in the same way. All politicians will say what people want them to say in order to get elected. They will use words to lull people to slumber and pull them to their side of things. it is the way of politicians and marketers also. TV ads are designed to get people to buy products.
I cannot say that the information in this hub is untrue. I can say it most likely is true. So in my opinion, Obama is guilty as charged, but then you have all the others who are also guilty.
Still thinking of creating a conspiracy theory on this. :P
dorsi this is a link to a scholarly article http://www.pennypresslv.com/Obama%27s_Use_of_Hidde

I encourage anyone to take a peek at the Penny Press "news"paper.
Well Bill, I appreciate your comment. However, as a professional, I have studied hypnosis,(I am a dentist) so the article there is factual. It may be that Penny Press has another agenda, but I believe in this analysis of Obama's rhetorical speech it can be used. As I mentioned before the Association of american Physicains and Surgeons also wrote an articel. I am not the first one to have noticed that the Obama supporters are rather hysterical and cultish. as a matter of fact, Howard Stern interviewed people in NY and asked them why they supported Obama and then used all of McCai/Palin's platform and they said they completely agreed withthe agenda and that's why they supported him. Unfortunately, we live in an age when the public is misinformed, and I migh add, deliberately. It's no news that the media was completely in the tank for the liberal-socialist agenda.
Mr. Deeds, I am not running for president.
You're a joke. Obama is the one who needs to present his documentation. Duh.
Well, you're the one who's citing your medical credentials as support for your outrageous political commentary. I'd like to see some documentation.
Mr.Deeds, I am who I am. I am not performing any dental procedures on you, nor am I asking you for any money, nor am i asking you to trust me with the nuclear codes and CIA intelligence for the US.
You do not have to come back here. No one is asking you. Why don't you ask the man who wants to be in charge of your life (Mr Obama/Dnham/Soetoro) to show you his documentation. You see, Mr. Deeds, I have no control over your life. Mr. Obama will.
I made a post on this Hub yesterday. Will you approve it please?
it's there
vrajavala, it is still unapproved,so no one will be able to see the comment. Thanks
I'm sorry something must have happened . all the comments have been approved.
Sour grapes don't taste so good do they.
If Mr Obama's documentation was in question, the intelligence of your own government would have attended to it long long ago. Have you no faith in your own system? Move on vrajavala, or you will be the one needing a doctor to attend to your paranoia.
Looking from the outside in, and being privvy to international media coverage, not only in my country but many, you hear leaders everywhere expressing sincere congratulations that Obama is the new president. When questioned on preferences, it is very clear who they wanted and it was not Sarah Palin or Mr McCain. Now that is old news of course. But it seems you not only question the intelligence of people in the US, but you are questioning it on a global level. So I am wondering, are you saying the majority of the world population is stupid?
I love how you pulled the hypnotism card, very clever of you - or is it? Come on, these tactics have been used for a long time, it's not new and it's not secret squirrel tactics. You could say anyone who exudes charisma is going to have an effect on people. Obama does not have a monopoly on charisma. But I tell you if I had a choice of who's shoes I'd want under my bed, it would not be McCain's, nor Bush's.
WOW. i really can read and what I have been reading here is bvery interesting and thought provoking. I will be watching with a third eye now. thanks for the hub and to all that commented. it is great how every comment was analyed and answered. Any that were delated, I will have yo say some public comments need to be deleted. i have several blogs and know that all comments ARE NOT suitable.
Dear Ms jewels, this is not a case of "sour grapes". It is really about something much greater than that, but apparently you didn't finish reading the whole post or listen to the videos. I innocently got into this debate over 9 months ago when I wanted to know a little biographical information about Obama. It was not forthcoming. He wrote two "memoirs" and we have been able to piece together a bit of his "real" life, because most of it is half truths.. He went to indonesia, he was adopted by Lolo soetoro making him a citizen of Indonesia. We have seen an AP photograph of his school record with the name "Barry Soetoro" and nationality Indonesian. Indonesia, at that time was a police state and did not recognize dual citizenship. He travelled to Pakistan in 1980 (his own admission) when it was a "no travel zone for americans. He must have used his Indonesain passport.
The US constitution requires a "natural born" citizen to be POTUSA. He lost his citizenship, if he had it. He has not presented his birth certificate, but posted a forgery (it was debunked by forensic experts). John McCain was asked for his and presented it and was cleared by the Senate to run, even though he was born in a Naval clinic in the Panama Canal to 2 US citizens, while his father was in the US Navy.
Mr Obama has gotten a "free pass" from the media for several reasons: no one wanted to be accused of racism, and also the misogynistic press corps were too busy trashing Hillary Clinton and sarah Palin. Basically Mr. obama "bought" the white House with campaign contributions from terrorist organizations and sheiks who want the US to continue its dependency on them. His harvard education was paid for by Dr. Khalid abdullah Tariq al masoud, lawyer to saudi arabian princes.
I do not need a doctor. I know that this is Kali Yuga and it is a time of great hypocrisy. I practice yog. However, I can see that the public has been duped. of course, the Europeons loved him. They do not want a strong US president. they want a weak one. Great Britain, of all countries, would love to see america fail.
Additionally, for your information the planet Pluto is just moving into Capricorn where it will remain until 2024. The last time it was in Capricorn was during the American Revolutionary War. Pluto in Capricorn will cause great upheaval in governments and financial institutions. Most likely, there will be a civil War in the US to reclaim the american tradition from this Trojan Horse.
What really turned me off was when I went to the first link in the article and I saw Phillip Bergs link there too- then I knew it was written with an agenda because Berg is also at the forefront of the whole Obama birth certificate thing. That made it less reputable for me at that point.
Reading this hub was like watching the death throes of a beached whale. From the first attempted association with Adolph Hitler, to the citing of Margaret Thatcher as an oracle. It is so hopelessly one-sided as to be almost funny.
I agree Paraglider. It's a hopeless piece of misinformation. And Mr vrajavala you need to refer to Astronomy and not necessarily what you read as truth, to understand that Pluto is in fact 5 degrees Sag and not Capricorn. Try astronomy in conjunction with your astrology and you may get your facts straight. Please don't take my word for it, look in the sky. Believing everything you read gets you in trouble.
Jewels you are misinformed
paraglider and jewels. neither of you live in the States so you may not be aware of Obama's lack of tolerance for anyone who questions him. and if you think I'm so prejudiced and "shaking in my boots' then why did the journalists in the first video from Newsweek call the Obamabots "a creepy cult"?
vrajavala - I note that you appear seriously to believe that the apparent relative postions of the ninth lump of rock from the sun and a cluster of distant stars that have no real relationship to each other (as constellation groupings are mere conventions) will somehow conspire to affect financial institutions here on earth. And you call Obama supporters 'creepy'???
Berg is a whackjob. He believes that the 9-11 attack was planned by the CIA, Israel and the FBI. He was a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton and has attacking Obama ever since he announced his candicacy.
Vrajavala- In two consecutive replies to my comments you kept mentioning about my legal background(although my parents belong to it not me) hence to remove that notion I mentioned about my profession. I do possess reasonable common sense and ofcourse a very high level of common sense is surely something that I aspire to. As I already mentioned earlier I do hope all the constitutional formalities are adhered to. Hope everything works out well for whatever is good for US. May God Bless America and the world.
@vrajavala not that I agree with ANY religious affiliation with govement, including Judeo-christian beliefs, isn't this exactly what has happened here with capatilism and republican conservative overlording? 10 commandments in goverment agencies are backed because the party in power has the most money. If/When islam has the most money, because of our own gas guzzling ways, shouldn't their money win? Thats capatilism, isn't it? Vote=Money, that is the way.
Sharia law is extremely devastating to women Christians, Jews and Hindus. If you listen to Lindsay williams you will hear that actually, by agreement, one of our major oil reserves at Gull Island alaska is not being developed because of an agreement signed by Kissinger and the sheiks. You are right their war now is through making america a third world country dependent on Iran, Iraq and saudi Arabia. And with that does come their insistence to have the investment houses become Sharia-compliant.
Listen to Lindsay williams speak about his book Energy the non-crisis
some support here for Vrajavala. I admire the tenacity for letting the dissenters to the perspective on the site remain to comment. That is much more than I could say for many of the sites avidly supporting Obama whether political or new age. Many of those sites have overtly deleted, banned and worse in support of Mr. Obama, and Iam sad to say I believe that will get worse. As far as the astrology is concerned, someone here needs to learn the difference between sidereal and tropical astrology. There is a difference. Both work quite well thank you.
Astrologically, we are about to slip into a cycle of catalytic change, and not the kind that Obama has been window dressing. At the end of this month Pluto transits back into Capricorn for its full ride through that sign. It does not travel ‘unarmed’. Government institutions, banks, authority figures, farms, and other indicators of Capricorn will be affected. You will watch those you would fully expect to defend the constitution to rip it apart. The recent Saturn Uranus opposition exact on election day will return on February 5th in the second of five passes. That is only four days ahead of the powerful eclipse on the 9th at 21 degrees on Leo. There will occur major events in India, Burma and China. This dual configuration will also hit Obama’s chart while his natal Mars is opposed by transiting Uranus. All indicators of assassination attempts. This aspect also affects John McCain and his health could fail dramatically. Unfortunately I see the extraordinary circumstance of both presidential candidates dying soon. Both have planets posited at 22 degrees of Virgo. Transiting Uranus will move into the orb of opposition of that degree in December. In McCain's case the depression from the loss and the effects of the strain of the election effort will precipitate a heart attack. The planet involved for him is Venus, ruling his 1st house. For Barrack, the planet involved is Mars. The aspect involved sets off all of his astrological death indicators. The combination of Mars and Uranus could indicate sudden violent events. I don't expect him to survive. I see Biden taking office for the four year term.
As far as the birth certificate question, one wonders why anyone would spend nearly a half million dollars defending against its release in 8 states when simply producing the vault copy of the document would have allayed all suspicion long ago. And by the way Barack was an Indonesian citizen in his youth.
Wow. I must say the level of paranoia and tinfoil-hat conspiracy value of the "Republican rump" is pretty staggering. This does not bode well for the future of conservatism.
yeah and I'm not even a Republican. But I do read at least, which is more than the Obamabots do; and they're going to have such "buyer's remorse" when they wake up from the stupor and smell the coffee.
yes Chiron. Americans have really sunk into a morass. they seem to lack analytical powers. guess they're used to falling for the quick sell and being mesmerized by TV.
It is a fact that Obama was in Indonesia and his school records were available when the AP photographer came there and photographed it with his name, of course, being Barry soetoro and nationality Indonesian. Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship. Therefore, he would have lost his American citizenship. When he returned to Hawaii in 1971 he would have had to take an Oath of nationalization which would make him a "naturalized citizen" and ineligble for POTUSA. He knows this and the DNC knows this, so if he is disqualified, I do not believe that any Democrat should fill in his steps. They are all part of the conspiracy, even Bill and Hillary who must have known about this.
With the economy bad, I consider this a desperate time...and with desperate times there are desperate measures. During the 1930s Germany was feeling desperate and Hilter offered them "change" and a chance to get out of the the economical slump they were in. Because the citizens were so desperate they quickly fell into his fascism view and before long the world was being destroyed. The trouble is; when ppl get desperate they often act before they think, and then we must deal with the repercussions. With Obama in office, we'll get change alright, but I bet there are few that voted for him that have read his health care plan in detail. For one thing he is definately socializing health care, and he is encouraging people to buy their "medicine" abroad...while I understand that something must be done so that health insurance and pharm. co.'s don't take advantage of American citizens...we should not be pushing the business to head outside our country. Not only will create a great loss of jobs, and higher rates of unemployment, and will force companies to close, and force us to take our business to europe for example...this means that money (American money) will instead be invested in non-US countries, and this could be the start of another depression. Scary... I voted McCain, my husband voted Obama...so believe me I've heard it all...but open up your eyes....I consider myself a moderate...I despised Bush, but McCain wasn't Bush...Obama is about as far Left as you get...and it's nearly impossible to return to capitalism once you become socialized...trust me with half my family being French I can say that we have it better...don't forget to really listen to the issues. Also, being that my fam is french, I'd like to say this...the only reason other countries like France are so excited to have Obama in office is because they want to see our country suffer...they want us to lose our number 1 ranking...our superpower position, so that they will be more powerful. Do not let them have this. Fight back!
You are misinformed and you want me to believe an intuitive website. You need to get factual for a change. Get your head out of a book, out of the internet and go outside and look in the sky. You're basing your facts on incorrect data to begin with.
You need to read more and study truth in what you read experientially.
Read the Media people - there is to be no questioning of Obama's credentials. The United States can not withstand a civil war and that is exactly what would trnaspire in the months following should Obama be disqualified. All the internet conversations about is he or isn't he won't come before the media. Our elected leaders know we have enough on our plates without risking civil war.
Personally, I hope Obama moves into the White House and I don't like him and didn't vote for him. But, for the sake of the future of our country I'll pray for him and "hope" the democrats don't go crazy and contain him!
Astrologers and conspiracists as his emerging opposition - I don't thinlk Obama has much to worry about there :)
Jewels you say I'm misinformed. could you be more specific or is it just that your feelings were hurt when we pointed out you were wrong about Pluto coming into Capricorn?
Pacglider, yes it is a desperate time, but there also may be false leaders emerging who would take us down the wrong path. Maybe someone should have told off Andrew W. Mellon when he flunked Economics 101. But that would have been a heresy? Just because a person is wealth, like Donald Trump and Warren Buffet doesn't make them a good economist. The Democrats were so proud that Colin Powell endorsed Obama, but Powell's testimony at the UN got us into the War in Iraq.
Paraglider each planet has certain physical characteristics, known as wavelengths (a form of electro-magnetic energy) Just like the Moon has an effect on the tides and the sun has an effect on photosynthesis. Therefore planets have individual wavelengths that identify them. Without those physical wavelengths, astronomers would not be able to differentiate between objects in the sky. In the Vedas, each planet is predominantly ruled by a demi-god.
Jess, you're right. If you look carefully you will see that the strategy of causing the downfall of capitalism and replacing it with socialism is very deliberate and orchestrated. All the pieces fit together. It's a fact that certain key people control the price of crude oil and the stock market. I believe that there were some reports of unusual trading. Look what George Soros did to the Bank of England. It is no secret that Obama is the puppet of George Soros. Without the Stock Market crash of Sept 29th-Oct 10th, Obama gained a considerable advantage in the race. is this not true? Orchestrated. Nothing new for George Soros.
And Chiron, you are fascinating. what is your website?
The moon's effect on the tides is gravitational. Astronomers differentiate between objects in the sky mainly by spectral analysis. The planets in the solar system were originally discovered by the visible light they reflected from the sun. They are cold (relatively speaking) and give out virtually no electromagnetic radiation of their own. I think you need to distinguish more clearly between the scientific and the mystical use of such words as 'wavelength'. Pluto is a lump of stone and has no effect wahsoever on events on earth, except in the vivid imaginations of astrologers.
Paraglider, it seems rather inappropriate that you would use a quotation from the Bhagavad Gita on your profile, yet you don't believe in the Vedas.
"Light is an electromagnetic radiation that covers a very wide range of possible frequencies and wavelengths. The complete possible range is called the spectrum.
In every day use, we tend to restrict the use of the word "light" to that portion of the radiation that can be detected by our eyes. In that context, we know that planets do not give off light other than what they reflect form the sunlight they receive. We can measure the quantity of light and the frequency distribution. We can note the absorption lines to identify what kind of gas the light has gone through.
In every case of light coming from planets (and from the Moon), it is clear from the absorption lines that the light went through the Sun's atmosphere before hitting the planet and coming back to us.
However, in astronomy, the word light extends to the entire spectrum. Any object that has heat (even at a low temperature) will give off some "light". At the low temperature of a planet (the Sun's surface is around 6000 K, while the Earth's surface is less than 300 K) most of that light is in the infra-red part of the spectrum. It cannot be seen by our eyes but it can be measured by instruments.
Depending on the position of the planets (especially since we have been sending probes in space), we sometimes can measure the light that comes off the unlit portion of the planet. And there we see that there is a tiny quantity of light that does come off, mostly in the infrared. The amount is very puny compared to sunlight, but it is there.
But, if you are concerned about what we can see with the eyes, this puny amount can never be detected. Only the light that comes first from the sun, hits the planet and bounces back to us can be detected by our eyes.
Color is an electromagnetic energy" (Yahoo answers)
The Vedas indicate that the planets are agents of the demigods.
Just thought I would drop in this information since the Medical has been brought up. According to the most recent report, Senator Obama has received $1,662,280 from the pharmaceutical industry. Please keep in mind that if you read any of my articles I am very much against Western Medicine. This information came from my research in that. Point being that people don't give over 1.5 million dollars and expect nothing in return.
I sincerely hope that Obama can do what he says, but the bottom line is if you take out all the retoric and what the media says, sit down and read what he has written himself in his "memoirs" and plans numbers just don't add up. One of the first things he plans to do is address firearms, taking more of those away. These are our constituntial rights. The party line is that it is for our "protection" but the last time I checked my friends with registered guns are not going out and robbing with them. The Constitution was written to protect us the people FROM our government.
As of now, yes he is our next president, and while I have a problem with it, I will support him as long as he does the right thing by our country. Of course this means being sworn in with his hand on a Bible, not being ashamed or refusing to wear our flag, standing when they play our National Anthem, and treating us all as equal. Can he do that? I don't know...
so far he has bucked every one of those things in his time in the press.
I was trained up in western Medicine and I agree with you entirely, blogger2. Ayurvedic and holistic medicine are much better alternatives. prevention is the best. a good diet and exercise.
Obama himself smokes. If I were a medical insurance agent, I would not give him medicals insurance.
Thanks blogger2. You are a voice of reason. The public just didn;t research. He is, of course the puppet of George Soros and Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzezinski. soros could have easily manipulated the Stock crash in late September and early Fall to give the advantage to Obama.
most likely that is what happened. The crash began was precisely through the Jewish High Holidays.
Check out The Men Behind Obama
Vrajavala - I know what light is, thanks. I said (correctly) that the planets were originally discovered by reflected visible light from the sun. Simple optical telescopes (Galileo) allowed further discoveries, e.g. moons of Jupiter, and more distant stars and galaxies. I'm perfectly familiar with the electromagnetic spectrum and was also correct in saying that the planets radiate Virtually no radiation of their own. If you want to be pedantic, everything above zero Kelvin gives off black body radiation dependent on its temperature, but in the case of a frozen lump of rock like Pluto, the intensity (and frequency spectrum) of this is immeasurably low. The fact that I am a qualified physicist doesn't prevent me from recognising wisdom wherever I find it (e.g. my quote from Bhagavad Gita). Nor it does prevent me from saying that Pluto has no effect whatsoever on financial markets.
No my feelings are not hurt. But here you go. You are saying Pluto is about to go into Capricorn. It is currently 5 deg Sag astronomically. In Tropical (which is not astronomical) it's at 29 deg. Jupiter is astronomically currently in Sag. Tropical it's in Cap. Saturn is in Leo at the moment but Tropical says it's in Virgo. On the premise that planetary forces have an influence on us and you are quoting data that is predicting events according to astrological data, at least make sure it is correct, ie in line with what is actually happening when you lift your head.

http://www.nightskyinfo.com/maps_images/html/jupit
You will find that Sidereal astrology, though also not 100% correct, is closer to reality than your Tropical counterpart. 23 degrees closer in fact. This is in line with scientific data.
And whilst Pluto is not visible to the human eye, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Venus are very visible without a telescope and you can clearly find the correct constellation the planet is in. The two links will lead you to a map which may help you see for yourself so you may have the experience of finding out first hand.
Any astrologer who does not know the placement of planets in the sky visually cannot call themselves an astrologer.
Oh I wish the astrological neophytes would please take a deep breath and get a life. Argue politically yes, but please don't discuss an issue with which you are unfamiliar. There is a difference between tropical and sidereal due to the precession of the equinoxes. 'Most Western astrologers use what is termed the tropical zodiac. The beginning of the year is marked by positioning 0° Aries at the point where the sun is located on the spring equinox. However, that point changes slightly every year, hence the zodiac moves slightly every year. Some astrologers use what is termed a sidereal equinox, in which the sun's true alignment with the constellations is retained. In the sidereal zodiac, the traditional relationship of the zodiac with the seasons of the year is lost. Both systems work quite well paradoxically as I can attest from 30 years of practice. Influentially Pluto indeed is quite powerful, that power works quite effectively in chart forecasting. Expert master astrologers such as Robert Hand, Ray Merriman and Noel Tyl have forecasted events quite accurately well in advance regularly. Mr. Merriman forecasted the October's stock market meltdown to the month well over five years ago. Perhaps instead of insisting that you are right like a oft spurned schoolgirl you buy a basic book on western astrology and learn something new. Holster the scientific rationalism and expand your mind.
((Holster the scientific rationalism and expand your mind.))
Espouse the non-scientific irrationalism and abandon your mind.
Pluto has no measurable effect on anything on Earth. That's not dogma. The global economy is entering a recession AND Pluto is out there somewhere. There's no causality.
why blather on an astrological site then? Go expouse your narrow viewpoint on the myriad of other sites with topics that meet your threshhold of acceptance. To me and thousands of other atsrologers Pluto works, as do the other bodies. Perhaps a quiet discussion with God might improve your tolerance for a belief system you have never explored. Sorry I guess God doesn't fit into your textbooks. Oh well I learnt long ago to ignore the cynics.
chiron - thank you for telling me what I may or may not talk about and on what hubs. May Pluto watch your back. Have a good day :)
I believe that he is suggesting that if you were more open minded then discourse would be possible.
Suit yourself. How does Pluto influence the FTSE 100?
There are a great number of fianacial experts who use astrological indicators and are successful. http://stockmarketcompass.com/ like anything one must study these things for a number of years, before becoming expert.
Wow! What a bunch of words ;~D
Chiron, I'm not sure where your arguement lies. Astronomy and Astrology are joined at the hip, which is why I use Sidereal. If you have been doing it for 30 years and using the Tropical system then that's your choice. But if you want something that has more integrity then I know which system I prefer. When a person is giving advice to a person stating that a planet is in one sign, when factually it is in another, then I have a problem with that. Energetic influences is what's happening here. It's not about being told what is right, it's about experiencing it.If you were to look in the sky, do you know what Jupiter feels like, not what you've read but what you feel from it? Do you know how to find it and do you know what the constellations look like in order to find it.
If you are referring to me as the schoolgirl, I'll thank you for the compliment. But as far as my knowledge is concerned I consider myself more a university student and am greatful to my teachers for pointing out the obvious, don't believe what you read, believe what you see.
When the astronomer Edmond Halley asked Sir Isaac Newton (essentially the “patron scientist of physics”) how he could possibly believe in astrology, Sir Isaac answered, “Because I have studied the matter, Sir. You have not.” Thank you for the astronomy class. And actually I use both the sidereal and the tropical zodiacs since I read both western charts and vedic charts. As I've said, they both work, they both agree. Each pulls different information from the akashic records and forecast in somewhat different manners. You are an astronomer. I appreciate that, you conceptualize in the certain way you have been trained. But this discourse is very much along the lines of science versus religion, and that simply gets us no where. To the mind of a scientist God is a non-sequitor. To God, the scientist is an amusing and somewhat misplaced comma in a very long novel. "Since there is no way known to science by which the planets could influence human events, it is natural that scientists have rejected astrology. On the other hand, people who have studied the subject find enough evidence for its validity so that, despite a lack of quantitative precision comparable to some science, there is sufficient evidence for general agreement among those who practice the subject that they can employ the same rules and get the same results." Arthur M. Young (1992) http://www.arthuryoung.com/valueofastrology.html
As to the practice of financial astrology, I refer you to the reknowned practioner Raymond Merriman, and here are recent links to his essays.

Namaste
Namaste chiron,
Just love reading what you have to say. You're very patient with these cynics.
{{To the mind of a scientist God is a non-sequitor. To God, the scientist is an amusing and somewhat misplaced comma in a very long novel.}}
Science deals with falsifiable hypotheses. Religion (and astrology) are not falsifiable. It's possible to learn a great deal about them. I'm not denying the existence of long traditions of learning in such fields. But they are on the other side of a leap of faith which differentiates them from science.
The statement about how God views the scientist is mildly amusing too, but it's really just a statement about how the religious view the irreligious. Claiming you know what God thinks doesn't make it so :)
paraglider, astrology and religion are falsifiable. Just ask Job. Lynn Palmer predicted 9/11.
Both astrology and religion make many predictions. Single instances of predictions that turn out true do not 'prove' a theory. But single instances of predictions that turn out false do disprove the theory. That is the strict criterion that science has to measure up to. I've not seen astrology or religion subject itself to such a regime. If you have, please provide a link.
Okay so now we all know that you are a student of Karl Popper. congratulations. I think I will stick with Sir Isaac Newton and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. While the truth may evade the naked eye, it still remains the truth.
Yes, Popper is one of many philosophers I've studied. And Newton. I've not read Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Thanks for the suggestion.
Can science predict life? As Arthur Young states in his wonderful essay on Science and astrology, "Which brings us to a most important aspect of the subject. Science, by which I mean the first principles on which physics is founded, and which entitle physics to its claim that the other sciences -- chemistry, biology, etc. -- can be reduced to the same laws on which physics is based, does not include any first principles which predict or even accommodate life. To the science of physics, life is an accident, an extremely unlikely one at that, and none of the principles which science has discovered and on which it is based, even though they be necessary to life, are sufficient to account for it. Presumably life has come about through some sort of evolution, but the current view that evolution is the result of chance and necessity is the opposite of a first principle, in that it gives a positive role to chance. Chance is accident; it is something that happens despite law, as an exception to law. As for necessity, to say that survival is necessary to life is a truism, not a principle." Nicely put. Certain things like life, God, love, religion and astrology cannot be reduced to a petri dish. No one knows what God thinks, but the path to a meagre understanding of God for centuries in every ancient culture on the planet has often been uniquely through the study of astrology. There have been many 'scientific' theorum over the centuries that have been disproven. But science has yet to disprove God or astrology for that matter.
Namaste
thanks Chiron. Your website?
Science isn't in the business of disproving non-scientific theories. By definition, non-scientific theories such as astrology cannot be disproven. That is why they last for millennia, while scientific but erroneous theories (e.g. Newton's laws of motion) have a shorter life. Newton's Laws remain useful but are known to fail at extremely high velocities. Some scientists believe in God; some don't. It's a personal choice. But when you take a leap of faith and belief in something without reason, I don't see that as broadening the mind. Conversely, choosing not to believe irrationally does not constitute narrow mindedness, because the questions remain open.
studying a subject for long periods of time and finding veracity is not belief without reason, rather it is a rational choice based on an a belief that others may find irrational since their exposure is limited and circumstatial. Many things can be explored irrationally,,,,does a stone have consciousness? Sometimes a leap of faith is just that. sometimes a leap of faith simply broadens the soul. does the soul nourish the mind? or vice versa?
sorry vrajavala. no website. I post on many but am too busy these days to try to maintain a site.
Good answer. Food for thought.
No if he deos than it will be a miracle provided by hte almighty god like when he was giving his acceptance speech people noticed that he was in a bullet proof box the whole freakin time and not to mention just like lincoln (but not for the same reason as lincoln) will be assinated but there is a slight chance that he will live if he is not assinated during his presidency
well I think those type of things can happen to a controversial person. My feeling is tat he may have to step down due to eligibility requirements.
Interestingly how you think someone born in Hawaii and a US citizen will have to step down. Anyway, makes for entertainment.
Sweetie Pie, you have to read his book. He was adopted by Lolo soetoro and became an Indonesian citizen. The proof is the AP photos of his school records in Jakarta. It is simply a fact that Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship.
So, at best, weh he returned to Hawaii, he would have to be naturalized and in that case, no t "natural born " citizen.
That is why his birth file in Hawaii has never been accessed, according to the Director of Health in Hawaii. It most likely has his adopted name on it, Barry soetoro.
Do you have a citation on the woman who was visited by the Secret Service?
that is a COLB, tom. a Certificate of Live Birth can be obtained in Hawii by applying for it by someone who claims 1 yr residence. A birth certificate however, is a different document and has the delivering doctor's name an signature plus weigh and height, footprints of the baby.
I'm not sure what you mean by the woman visited by the Secret Service.
The document on the link you posted was examined by forensic experts who analyzed it to have been a photo-shopped fraud. Even the language on it is somewhat revealing. It gives the father's race as "African" In those days the term "Negro" would have been used. African is not a race, it is a Nationality.
Moreover, Dr. Fukino, director of health Dept, Hawaii says she has the "birth file" and claims that it has never been opened. If so, then how could there be any valid copy? Andy Martin has a law suit to open that file 11/18.
"Africa is a nationality." We learn all kinds of curious things on this Hub. Have you been coaching Sarah Palin or is it a coincidence that she was of the opinion that Africa is a country, rather than a continent?
that was a rumor from an anonymous source. it is completely false. Anyway, my point is that on the COLB where it asks for 'Race" they put "African", rather tha the usual nomenclature that was prevalent at the time, "Negro"
Chiron, I think we are getting off on the wrong foot here somehow. I do not side with science in the strictest terms, far from it. I'm more from the experiential side. I am a seeker like many. I also have been doing astrology for decades. Vulnerable and gullible like most I spent many many hours reading up on Tropical as a teenager. When I was young I was not educated enough to know there was anything other than what was in newspapers and magazines. I was trying to fit into the mould of what someone was telling me I was as far as a Constellation. I didn't fit the mould which was both frustrating and confusing. Considering most uneducated people don't go beyond what they are told, it's not surprising that people align themselves to what they would like to be, but are not. When people keep talking about plants in constellations, and do predictive astrology based on planets being in the wrong constellation, I become very concerned, because as you know, or should know, where the planet actually is is very important. This is not science. This is visual, you can see it. Pluto of course is not easy to see, but try Jupiter and Saturn, they are easy to find.
The ancients drew knowledge from the stars experientially. It's undeniable that people were more empathic, sensitive, feeling and could discern easily emotions and feelings and their relation to planetary forces. There are still people today who can do this, though it's becoming rare.
I have spent many many hours star gazing, not because of science, but because of the energetic pull they have. This is how I came to learn more of the connection between astrology and astronomy. This is why I can know where a planet is and why I get testy when it is quoted as being somewhere it clearly is not. There is no truth in saying Pluto is about to be in Capricorn when it clearly is not. If you were to do a predictive paper on Pluto being in Sag, then I'd not be having this discussion.
tropical astrology
most astrologers of either system simply respect the practice of the other system. I have studied both. Each has its strengths and weaknesses, each pull differing truths. The planets are endogenous and resonate. They resonate properly in each system. Practitioners of one system ought not to disparage the other, and most don't. Simple. In tropical Pluto goes into Capricorn on the 28th of November. In sidereal it doesn't. Neither changes my interpretations done in either system. Often they match. Most vedics don't use the outer planets at all in the charts or prognostications, but they exist.
I don't know why it doesn't change your timing of your interpretation? Pluto does not go into Capricorn on the 28th of November, it just doesn't - the rock stays in Sag.
The interpretations of aspects are the same. The interpretation of the planets to consellations are the same. But the positions differ. And because astrology is based on the energetic influence of the planet and it's resonance to other planets that are aligned and in a specific position when we are born. how can you tell a person they're a Gemini when clearly the sun is in Taurus. When tabloid astrology puts so much emphasis on Sun signs, and the public buys into it, isn't there a case of integrity assigned to this craft? I certainly think so. Because unknowing general public put all their interest in constellations and don't even realise Venus and Jupiter and Mars and the rest play big parts in their lives, I shudder at the power of suggestion that is falsely influencing them.
I am just going to put that to you. It's fine if you want to continue to support Tropical, it's your choice at the end of the day. I just can't buy into it for reasons that are very clear experientially. And it's not my personal responsibility that people may be affected by what you are publishing. Even so, I find it difficult to just watch it happen. But that's for me to deal with.
Jewels, if you read the article you will see that I referenced that the revolutionary war occurred when Pluto was in Capricorn (tropical), (or if you want sidereal Sagitarrius approximately 1762-1777.)
http://www.astrology-reading.com.au/Pluto_in_Capri Most people in this country will understand tropical. However, the point is that the cycle is complete and we are entering into a 16 year period that will be tumultuous for institutions and the U.S.
that is the point I was making. Personally, I am a vedic astrologer and when I do a reading I try to cross-reference to tropical and sidereal. the point is that tropical does have a legitimate heritage.
The arguement is historical and heated. Here are some sites that explore the plusses and minuses of both positions. Neither position is resolveable. Astrologers, for centuries, have agreed to disagree. Happy reading:

But one wonders how Siderealists end up handling Ophiuchus or that while Ptolemy noted that Ophiuchus is in contact with the ecliptic, he was aware that the twelve signs were just conventional names for 30 degrees segments (especially since the Aries sign had ceased to be in contact with the Aries constellation already in his time. Or that, Because of their inclination from the ecliptic, the planets are not restricted to the 13 constellations of the ecliptic. The eight planets pass through 21 constellations. Thus there are 21 astronomical constellations of the zodiac. Anywho. Happy contemplation.
Which gives good credence to not using constellations at all. At the end of the day I have to live with what I am passing on to clients. I put very little energy into constellations when doing readings and focus more on Planetary Forces.
Thanks guys for the interaction.
Then you should definately explore Magi astrology. It is based on the Chaldean system using geometric interactions and definateively uses parallels and contraparallels in interpretation. I use declinations frequently. Using latitudinal aspects without using longtitudinal is silly. check it out.
Breaking News.
Today, the United States Supreme Court scheduled the case - Leo C. Donofrio v. Nina Mitchell Wells, Secretary of State of the State of New Jersey - US Supreme Court Docket No. 08A407 - for a conference of the nine Justices.
If four of the nine Justices vote to hear the case in full review, oral argument may be ordered. The conference is scheduled for December 5, 2008, ten days before the meeting of the Electoral College.
The case originally sought, pre-election, to have the names of Barack Obama, John McCain, and Roger Calero removed from New Jersey ballots, and for a stay of the “national election” pending Supreme Court review of whether those candidates were eligible under the Constitution as natural born Citizens, as is required by Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution of the United States.
Leo Donofrio brought his case from a lower New Jersey court to the NJ Supreme Court - was denied - and then he filed an emergency stay application in the United States Supreme Court on Nov. 3, 2008, before the Honorable Associate Justice David Souter. Justice Souter denied the emergency stay application on Nov. 6.
Leo Donofrio renewed the application, as per Supreme Court Rule 22.4, to the Honorable Associate Justice Clarence Thomas by way of Express mail on Nov. 14. The application arrived at the Supreme Court on Nov. 17 and was submitted directly to Justice Thomas.
On Nov. 19, the case was docketed for full conference of all nine Justices and scheduled for December 5, 2008. It is not known at this time the exact details of how the case came to be “DISTRIBUTED for Conference”.
Background on “The Justices Conference” is discussed as follows by the Supreme Court Historical Society:
“No outsider enters the room during conference. The junior Associate Justice acts as “doorkeeper,” sending for reference material, for instance, and receiving it at the door…
Five minutes before conference time, 9:30 or 10 a.m., the Justices are summoned. They exchange ritual handshakes and settle down at the long table. The Chief sits at the east end; the other Justices sit at places they have chosen in order of their seniority…
The Chief Justice opens the discussion, summarizing each case. The senior Associate Justice speaks next, and comment passes down the line. To be accepted for review, a case needs only four votes, fewer than the majority required for a decision on the case itself. Counsel for the litigants are directed to submit their printed briefs so that each Justice has a set several weeks before argument.
Well this could get interesting.

Please provide a citation for the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons analyzation of Obama's hypnotic techniques. I would be very interested to read it.
