Will electing a Black President Erase Racial Inequalities?

BARACK OBAMA CAN DO MANY THINGS, BUT NOT THAT...

Considering that America wants to eradicate affirmative action and is hesitant to correct the prior systematic wrongs that it has commited against minorities, it will take more than a middle-aged president of any race or sex to change things.

Look at the disproportionate amount of minorities in crisis in comparison to other groups, yet society blames them solely for their plight. They act as if the justice system is fair and equal, ghettoes crop up out of nowhere and that minorities who are poor strive to be and remain that way. With this sort of willful naivete, especially over centuries and centuries of time, is it any wonder that this problem is bigger than what one man or woman can conquer alone?

Barack cannot shoulder the cure or the blame for conditions that he was born into (and existed for generations before he was even thought of). People who think that he can are over-simplifying the rampant disease that is racism and are overlooking numerous and egregious sins of their founding forefathers. Think about it.

Thanks Ms Melody. You know a friend of mine, a Native american reminded me that sen Obama has sponsored the Global Poverty Act, which will put a big burden on taxpayers and will sned money out of the country, without taking care of the problems that we have right here inthis country.

I need to look into that, but if that's true, his behavior is symptomatic of the country he was born in---always ready to rush out and help others, but slow to take care of home. Appreciate your comment, please keep reading!
