Who is Peter R. Orszag?
I guess most people can guess that I'm a fan of Glenn Beck. Today he mentioned Iceland, since it was once a rock solid economy and went bankrupt last year.
However, i was a little disappointed that Glenn didn't do just a little more research into the matter. You see, behind the financial mess in Iceland is Peter R. Orszag. That's right, our own "37th director of the Office of Mangement and Budget under President Obama". You see, Peter went to school at the London School of Economics, and is a member of the socialist Fabian Society. He's originally from Boston. So, he must have had a certain goal in mind when he chose LSE, but then it is the alma mater of George Soros, as well. The London School of Economics was founded in 1895 by Sidney and Beatrice Webb, both socialists with funding from a fellow Fabian.
As usual, the media has paid no attention to this tidbit, found on Perfect Economy: "In 1998, after serving in the Clinton administration, Orszag co-founded an economic consulting group company with his brother and Joseph Stiglitz called Sebago Associates, where he served as president through 2007. The firm's clients have included the World Bank, the Nordic Council of Ministers, and most notably, the Central Bank of Iceland. The once prosperous economy of Iceland has been devastated by the current economic crisis, which its citizens say was carried out by a gang of financial criminals who followed disastrous policies and advice - provided by Peter Orszag and Company."

Mr. Oddsson, former head of the Central Bank of Iceland, says "banks should be run at their own risk, not at the risk of the taxpayer. This, he says, is one of the lessons we have learned in the current financial crisis." Sound familiar? As a result of the government and taxpayers bailing out the Central Bank of Iceland, they went into bankruptcy. guess whose advise they had been taking?
Last week, Prime Minister Gordon Brown placed financial sanctions on Iceland along with a number of other "terrorist" countries. Check out the video on the upper right. BTW, Gordon Brown is also a member of the Fabian Society, along with Tony Blair. Please sign the Petition to tell Gordon Brown to take Iceland off its terrorist list.

Why Glenn didn't bring this up, I don't know. Possibly just an oversight. But it might be a big one.

The reality is that Democrats and Republicans alike are mere puppets to who really controls the World's Governments. And that is the people who own the Central Banks. Until the Federal Reserve is abolished and fractional reserve banking is abolished you can expect more of the same. Obama is a puppet... a pretty face that was pushed to the forefront to distract from the issues. The reason people jump all over a guy like Beck is emotion... emotions that are stirred by the bankers... get both sides of a political argument ... arguing and you can go about business as usual. Nothing is being done to fix the system that is creating the enslavement of the American Public. The super elite... the super wealthy are not hurting... they are laughing at the stupidity of the average person. Voting up.
They want to send more troops to Afganistan... there are already 300,000 troops in Afganistan. There are an estimated 25,000 "Bad Guys"... that's a 12:1 ratio! How many more troops are needed? Seriously who is running the operation, Larry, Curly, and Moe? Either get in and do your business or get out. Time for the United States Government to quit playing world police with human lives so they can extend the agenda of the Corporate Elite and steal natural resources from countries for profit.

Soros! I spent 3 months researching Soros, trying to follow the money, I wrote about him and his connections, most everyone in Obama's administrations has ties to one or two of Soros's funded pets, like Acorn, SEIU and the hundreds of others. Orszag and Soros, another connection. Great Hub!
