Is the world really going to end in 2012?
I’m sure that a lot of people are very curious to find out the truth about this end of the world 2012 rumor.
But we can’t tell you for sure, all we can do is to show you the scientific facts pointing to this date.
First of all theend of the world in 2012 has been associated with the end of the Mayan calendar!
A lot of people say that it will be the end of the world because the Mayan calendar will end in 2012 and those Mayans know better. But actually it could be just an end of “times”, an end of an old era and the beginning of a new one, or maybe the Mayans realized their calendar wasn’t so good and switched to a modern calendar.
Another important thing is that in 2012, the solar system will move from the top edge of the Milky Way galaxy towards the center of the galaxy. This means that huge forces of gravity will “pull” our solar system and planet.
This “migration” of the solar system towards the center of the Milky Way Galaxy is a phenomenon that happens every 21 thousand years, so this is the first time the modern mankind experiences something like this so we don’t really know how it is going to be.
We just hope for the best.
Once in every 11 years, the sun produces spots the size of the Earth called solar flares because of the huge gravity with planet Jupiter. (They are both huge!).
These solar flares can damage our electrical towers on earth and can leave us without any power whatsoever for weeks, months or who knows!!!
This means no TV, no computers and internet, no hot showers, no lights, no heat, no nothing!!!
It is known for a fact that solar flares have damaged some electrical towers on Earth before and it can happen again.
The scary thing now is that this time, because of the migration towards the center of the Galaxy, the gravity forces will be enormous and the solar flares will be much bigger and much dangerous than before.
Also, when the solar system will be in the center of the Galaxy, the sun will be for the Milky Way as the planets are for the sun. This means that the sun will orbit in the Milky Way like the planets orbit around sun.
In 2012 because of the huge forces from the center of the Galaxy, the sun will invert its magnetic poles and this is not a good thing. Although the sun may look still, it’s actually moving all the time, and it’s wobbling millions of kilometers every year!
The end of the world 2012 topic has been a controversial one and there are both believers and nonbelievers. Just in case it’s true, I think I’m going to build myself a bunker like Hitler did ( =)) lol).
Will we be able to survive such calamities? Nobody can tell for sure yet. We’ll just have to wait and see!
But if the end of the world 2012 thing is true then, I just hope I won’t die so young! lol

I really don't know what to believe . I am very young ,if it ends in 2012 ,well...I will die at the age 15!!!!!! Its so scary to think of everyday that we all only have 3 years to live . Seriously guys, science can be really interesting, but usually it is not accurate.I don't think God will want us to suffer so much. If the world really was gonna end, God wouldn't make it so harsh he would just take us up to heaven.
