Do you want to win a Free SurfBoard?

Many of us know getting a surfboard can sometimes be a chore. They can be expensive and some of them just dont fit in or on top of the car. If your friend has an old board you could ask to use it. But I dont recommend this tactic.

Way better to rent a board or buy one. Hey maybe you could even win one? In my lenghty travels I come across many contests, giveaways and promotions. So I decided to collect all the sites that are giving away free surfboards and surf apparel. Keep a current list of these usually major companies and share this information with whom ever is interested.

Whats the catch? There isnt a catch really. Just sign up for my email list and I send you the list of free surfboard giveaways I have collected so far. Then you can check out the sites I found and sign up to win a surfboard at any of the sites you choose.

  • Board Room

BoardRoom is a feature length documentary by German director Markus Davids, SOC, featuring the legends of early surfboard shaping. A special group of innovative and progressive surfboard manufacturers were looking for a better way to build lighter surfboards, when the common surfboard weighed in at more than 50 pounds. With the invention of polyurethane during the 2nd World War, it became a popular and accessible material for this generation of surfboard shapers who had been using redwood and balsa wood. The evolution of the surfboard and materials was at hand and surfing was never the same. This pivotal era was hallmarked by surf movies like “Gidget” and “The Endless Summer” which took surfing to mainstream America. In combination of changing attitudes towards surfing and the evolution of the surfboard, a group of a few thousand surfers erupted in to millions over night. - 21 hours ago
