Right now people are on a tight budget, looking for shortcuts to save money. By creating your own Wind Power Generation you could be saving money and helping the environment. I know that sounds expensive, but really you could start making your very own windmill generators for under $100. By installing your own windmill generator, you will be able to see a return in just a few weeks. That didn't used to be so, which is why most people think that wind power generation is costly. Now it is very inexpensive, especially with the do-it-yourself instructions that are now readily available to the public.

Some people might be a little overwhelmed with the whole concept of wind power generation for the home and making windmills, but they shouldn't be. First of all, the decision to start this project should be commended. This is the first step an individual can take to start helping the earth and you should take great pride in knowing that you are doing your part. Hopefully, more people will follow your example and start doing their part too. They will after they see how much money you're saving by eliminating your power bill. Here's where to start:

* You need to pick where you are going to put your windmill generator. It should be in a place where the wind speed averages 11 mph (or higher). It can be lower, but 11+ is optimal and will save you the most amount money.

* Initially, you should start with a wind power generation kit. Earth4Energy is the one I used for each of my windmills, and you can visit them here. This kit will be good to know what to do in the future. With it, you can decide when you need more windmill generators, and if you do you will have enough confidence and practice to build 1 or 2 more. Remember, you will start seeing results of your savings within a few weeks.

* Make sure to get a kit that has both written instructions and pictures. This will ensure that the building of the project will go smoothly and helps to avoid frustration. Also, the guide will help you find the components in your local area and also provide detailed descriptions and pictures of the components.

* Make sure to buy the appropriate pieces for your geographical location.  Earth4Energy will guide you through the most reliable and inexpensive building components available on the market, and choose the one that best suits your budget for wind power generation.

Wind power generation is not only inexpensive, but it requires no experience, and it will only take a few short hours to get you windmill generator up and running and start saving money. Stop depending on your power company! You can see more on Earth4Energy here.
