Make sure that the roll of film that you buy is wide enough for the windows you are going to use it. Measure your windows carefully since you can spread the roll in one direction only, and if it is not wide enough you will have a seam in the middle of your window. This will not have an effect on the overall tinting effect since it is going to be very small, or you will be slightly overlapping the slices of window film, but it will be a cosmetic problem.
