This is what I got on my first shipment. It is some fine wine for the holidays.

200 5 Burley Fox Limestone Coast Shiraz Australia

Who knew the fossils of crustaceans could be as important to winemakers as they could to scientists? The fossilization of these crustaceans is what gives the Limestone Coast's soil such a great profile for vines. Their chalky soils produce fantastic red wines like the 200 5 Burley Fox Shiraz . This wine's elegant nose of white pepper, black cherry and spicy oak is a prelude to complex flavors of fresh berry fruit, vanillin and chocolate all ending in a rich, savory and smooth finish.

2005 Villagiachi Chianti holiday red wine Italy

Try a real taste of history! The Giachi family has made fine wines in Tuscany since 1720 from its base in the ancient town of San Gimignano. Really good Chianti like this, from an excellent vintage, is one of the world's most appetizing reds. Not heavy but packed with cherry and almond flavors that are spectacular with meat and pasta dishes.

2005 Chateau Andrea Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon - a great holiday wine gift. California

Ladies and Gentlemen, the King of California, Cabernet Sauvignon! California's sunshine, mixed with rocky soils, have proved to be the perfect ingredients in making full-throttle, power house reds that have come to be known as fruit bombs. Our Chateau Andrea Cabernet is such a wine. Grown in the hot vineyards of Paso Robles, the grapes grew to full maturity and ripeness and were crushed into an inky black wine with persistent notes of blackberry, black cherry and cassis. Full-bodied on the palate with a powerful tannic structure and a well integrated touch of oak, the Chateau Andrea proves why Cabernet Sauvignon is the perfect fit for California's vineyards.

2006 Oakton Lane Monterey Chardonnay California

As well as handcrafting world-class wines, San Antonio is also an official Cultural Historical Landmark. Run by a fifth generation winemaking family, it is now the only producing winery in Los Angeles. This classic American Chardonnay reveals aromas of vanilla, spice and oak with a rich and full palate of tropical fruit flavors along with ripe pear notes. A perfect sipper or great companion to fresh lobster or grilled salmon.

2006 Villa Masett i Pinot Grigio Italy

In the hills outside of Venice, Villa Masett a has become one of the leading wineries in northeastern Italy due to its mastery of hand crafted wines, such as their Pinot Grigio, which exhibits a distinctive nose of melon and walnuts. Intense green apple flavors and a hint of fresh herbs is perfectly balanced with brilliant acidity to create a truly memorable experience that has recently won medals at London's International Wine Challenge and the Challenge International du Vin in France.

2005 Heritage du Chateau Touraine, Sauvignon Blanc France

While there are no more Royal vineyards or French Kings in the Loire Valley, Vincent Mureau, head winemaker at Les Vignerons des Coteaux Romanais, is called the King of Sauvignon by his colleagues in the Loire. One sip of the Heritage du Chateau Touraine and you'll think this wine was made for the Royal Court. Aromatic with scents of fresh cut grass, lemon and gun-flint from the Loire's chalky soils, this medium-bodied wine is packed with juicy citrus fruit and a crisp, clean finish.
