Pilates works!

Of all the workouts I have tried, Pilates works the best. Not just any instructional video will do; Winsor Pilates works! It works and it works fast.

I first got the Winsor Pilates about six maybe seven years ago and I love, love, love it! Why? Because it actually does work. It is not so hard to do and in as little as a few work outs you really do see a difference.

Certainly I do not really know why it works, it just does. I think that it has to do with the order of exercises and the number of reps but primarily it has a lot to do with focus.

Pilates is a lot like yoga but for me, it is effective because I meditate on my body. It teaches you how to get the most out of the muscles you are using and you start to build strength and balance which increases your muscle tone and slanders out the body.

It focuses on being "long and lean" as apposed to some other work outs which make you big and bulky and don't really shape your body down. Don't get me wrong, any exercise is good exercise and pilates alone won't do much good unless you are also paying attention to the foods you eat and the amount of cardio you get but mostly, you have to stick with it!

What I like best about it though, is that it is low impact which is nice because I have a hip and hamstring problem so some weight lifting exercises do more damage and are more painful than anything else.

The workout is only 45 minutes long, it is mostly relaxed and only a few stretches or exercises are really tuff. Mostly the "teaser" and "around the world." What is true, as Mari Winsor suggest, is that it does get easier and you will get stronger and you will lean out and get that that pretty slender body you have always wanted.

First thing is first, you have to do it! You wont see a result after just one time, but you will feel it even if it doesn't seem to be working. Again I love Winsor Pilates. You want proof that it works? Look at my body, I didn't get it any other way and I didn't drop all the baby pounds because I just got lucky.

No sweetheart, I had to work at it. It does work, I swear it to my friends. I have bought about 10 of the Winsor Pilates videos and given them out to my friends who really wanted to try something that worked, but I won't give up my "Accelerated" pilates video.

I seriously though Daisy Fuentes was full of it and all those people on the video were naturally perfect, but it is not true, it really does work you just have to surrender to it and watch. After a few work outs, you undoubtedly notice a difference in the way your clothes fit and how you feel.

Plus you get to look really "hot" doing it.

NICE fish. What is it and where did you catch it. (my favourite passtime, fishing.)

Maybe I should take up Pilates, to turn the keg into a sixpak.

It a yellow tail tuna, caught it in the LaJolla kelp beds (san diego).

You should totally take up pilates if fishing is your favorite pass time, maybe it helps keep you from falling off the boat when fighting fish. :)
